A reliable Fortnite leaker just shared some intriguing information about a possible Deadpool & Wolverine promotion, which could happen in the upcoming Chapter 5 Season 4. On July 26, moviegoers will see Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine team up with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool to save the MCU’s multiverse from an impending threat – with Jackman finally donning his character’s iconic yellow uniform from the comics for good measure. Both Logan and Wade have appeared in Fortnite as playable character skins in the past, and Deadpool & Wolverine‘s impending release has sparked requests for a crossover in honor of the new movie.

This would line up with previous rumors that Fortnite’s next Season will be Marvel-themed, with some leakers hinting at an upgraded version of the Wolverine’s Adamantium Claws Pickaxe that was released during Chapter 3 Season 3 back in 2022. Fortnite Chapter 5 has already seen plenty of Marvel-themed content in Season 3, with the X-Men’s infamous arch-enemy-turned-occasional mentor Magneto set to be added with a post-apocalyptic Wastelander appearance in July. Now there are rumors that Fortnite could be bringing in content inspired by the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie. Twitter user HYPEX, who previously shared leaks about Chapter 5 Season 3 being more Marvel-centric, claims that Epic has been reworking the old Wolverine’s Claws Mystic in preparation for this potential Season 4 event. Additionally, Fortnite often re-releases old Battle Pass collaborations with alternate designs, in this hypothetical case being Wade and Logan’s costumes from the movie.

Deadpool has always been one of Fortnite’s most popular character skins, ever since the Merch-with-a-Mouth was introduced as a reward for a series of Deadpool-inspired Fortnite Challenges in Chapter 2 Season 2 way back in 2020. Likewise, Wolverine was added in Chapter 2 Season 4 that same year, complete with various alternate looks pulled from the classic comic books.
