Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Kaedehara Kazuha

As a Support, Kazuha’s best weapon in Genshin Impact should be versatile like its wielder. Although he can take on many tasks, Kazuha’s build decides his role. The most important part of any build is choosing the right weapon.

As Kazuha depends on his Elemental Mastery (EM) to transport it to Elemental DMG%, having EM in a weapon can be crucial. So weapons like Iron Sting and Freedom-Sworn Sword are a great option. But other than these two obvious weapons, Kazuha can swing many other swords.

With every version and every new DPS unit, Kazuha becomes more and more important as his buff is a universal damage buff that has very few limitations. Also, with every version, more new artifacts and weapons are released and could match some characters to improve their play style. For Kazuha, some new 4-star weapons slightly improve his Supporting abilities, so this list will be updated to include them.

8 Festering Desire

• Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 45.9% Energy Recharge
• R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 32% and Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by 12%.

Kazuha highly relies on his Elemental Skill and Burst to inflict DMG. Festering Desire‘s secondary stat will help him maintain his Energy, while its passive will enhance Kazuha’s Skill. The only issue with this sword is that not everyone owns one since it was a free weapon given in Genshin Impact 1.2.

7 Primordial Jade Cutter

• Primary Stats: 542 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 44.1% CRIT Rate
• Effect: HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK bonus based on 1.2% of the wielder’s Max HP.

No Sword user in Genshin Impact performs badly with Primordial Jade Cutter. This 5-star sword has everything a unit needs. From its decent Base ATK to its massive 44% Crit Rate Secondary Stats. Kazuha will definitely perform perfectly as a DPS when wielding Primordial Jade Cutter.

6 Skyward Blade

• Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 55.1% Energy Recharge
• Effect: CRIT Rate increased by 4%. Gains Skypiercing Might upon using an Elemental Burst: Increases Movement SPD by 10%, increases ATK SPD by 10%, and Normal and Charged hits deal additional DMG equal to 20% of ATK. Skypiercing Might lasts for 12s.

Although Skyward Blade has Energy Recharge as Secondary Stats, it’s still considered in the highest tiers of Genshin Impact’s sword weapon tier list. The weapon’s Energy Recharge secondary helps Kazuha unleash more Elemental Bursts during combat.

5 Sacrificial Sword

• Primary Stats: 454 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 61.3% Energy Recharge
• R5 Effect: After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has an 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.

Sacrificial weapons are amazing for Genshin Impact’s Support characters, and Kazuha is one of them. Kazuha not only will be able to cast his Elemental Skill again and get more Elemental particles but he will also Crowd Control the enemies and Plunge attack them once again.

4 Toukabou Shigure

• Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 165 Elemental Mastery
• R5 Effect: After an attack hits opponents, it will inflict an instance of Cursed Parasol upon one of them for 10s. This effect can be triggered once every 15s. If this opponent is defeated during Cursed Parasol’s duration, Cursed Parasol’s CD will be refreshed immediately. The character wielding this weapon will deal 32% more DMG to the opponent affected by Cursed Parasol.

Toukabou Shigure is a decent 4-star option for Kazuha in Genshin Impact. From this weapon, Kazuha only needs the 165 Elemental Mastery, and everything else that comes after is just extra damage that he can’t make the most of.

3 Iron Sting

• Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 165 Elemental Mastery
• R5 Effect: Dealing Elemental DMG increases all DMG by 12% for 6s. Max 2 stacks. Can only occur once every 1s.

Iron Sting is a great F2P choice for Kazuha. Adding 24% DMG to his abilities is already a great deal, and Iron Sting adds much more than that. The forgeable Genshin Impact weapon adds 165 Elemental Mastery, which will be transformed into even more Elemental DMG with Kazuha. With its high Base Stats, Iron Sting allows Kazuha to perform his Supportive tasks while inhabiting the Sub-DPS role.

2 Xiphos’ Moonlight

• Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 165 Elemental Mastery
• R5 Effect: The following effect will trigger every 10s: The equipping character will gain 0.072% Energy Recharge for each point of Elemental Mastery they possess for 12s, with nearby party members gaining 30% of this buff for the same duration. Multiple instances of this weapon can allow this buff to stack. This effect will still trigger even if the character is not on the field.

Xiphos’ Moonlight is one of Kazuha’s best swords in Genshin Impact. The weapon grants Kazuha all the Elemental Mastery he wants, in addition to some juicy Energy Recharge that scales with his Elemental Mastery. Moreover, Xiphos’ Moonlight also takes a portion of that Energy Recharge buff and grants it to everyone in Kazuha’s team. Kazuha with Xiphos’ Moonlight is a very Supportive unit that can do so much more than he is already capable of doing.

1 Freedom-Sworn Sword

• Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK
• Secondary Stats: 198 Elemental Mastery
• Effect: A part of the “Millennial Movement” that wanders amidst the winds. Increases DMG by 10%. When the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 2 Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain “Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance” for 12s. “Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance” increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16% and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s. Of the many effects of the “Millennial Movement,” buffs of the same type will not stack.

Given that Freedom-Sworn Sword is specifically made as Kazuha’s signature weapon, it’s no surprise it’s Kazuha’s best-in-slot (BiS) weapon in Genshin Impact. It pushes him further as a support by giving a high Elemental Mastery stat, and the weapon’s passive can provide a buff for the whole team if Kazuha meets the requirements. Unsurprisingly, it’s very easy for Kazuha to activate Freedom-Sworn’s effect, since he can trigger multiple Swirls immediately when using his Elemental Skill or Burst in Genshin Impact.
