Kalpalata Lotus in Genshin Impact is a beautiful blue flower that grows on tough terrains. This plant hangs from cliffsides, making it quite a dangerous journey to collect them. Travelers should exercise caution while collecting this material as it’s very easy to lose their foothold and fall off the cliff it’s hanging from. Falling itself is not an issue, but getting back up can be quite a nuisance.

Examples of Sumeru characters who need Kalpalata Lotus as their ascension materials are the shady merchant, Dori, and the Dendro Archon, Nahida. Nahida is the second 5-star Dendro character after Genshin Impact Tighnari, and she wields Catalyst as her weapon. Meanwhile, Dori is a 4-star Electro unit that uses Claymore in a fight. The merchant’s primary role in the team is as a healer and a battery.

  1. Gandharva Ville
  2. Mawtiyima Forest
  3. Devantaka Mountain
  4. Apam Woods
  5. Vanarana

Kalpalata Lotus in Genshin Impact is a local specialty of Sumeru that grows around cliff sides. All Kalpalata Lotus plants would be hanging from something, either a cliff or a branch. There’s also one exception in Gandharva Ville where the flower is hidden under a pile of leaves. To fully ascend a Genshin Impact character, 168 local specialties are required. Other than that, players will also need common materials and boss drops.

Visiting all the spots will grant around 67 Kalpalata Lotus, so at least two refreshes (each reset takes 48 hours) are required to get enough materials to fully ascend a character. Alternatively, people can also raid the flower from other worlds.
