Just like many other regions in Genshin Impact, Natlan is filled with side and hidden quests to reward your exploration. One of these side quests is the Ripe For Trouble quest, a mission that involves an NPC called Tisoc.

You first meet Tisoc in the Tequemecan Valley in Natlan. He’s located in a small valley southeast of the Tequemecan Valley Teleport Waypoint. Look behind you and you’ll find a giant tree. From that tree, descend the small valley right next to it, and you’ll find Tisoc standing in front of a cave. He claims his tribe is producing Flamegranates inside, but doesn’t let the Traveler and Paimon to even sneak a peek unless they have a Green Pass.

Tisoc Pass Location (Green-Edged Paper Slip) In Genshin Impact

The Tisoc Pass (Green-Edged Paper Slip) is next to the Scions of the Canopy Waypoint in Genshin Impact, east of Coatepec Mountain Statues of the Seven in Natlan. During the conversation, Tisoc hints that one of the tribe members lost their Green Pass, which means you have to find that Pass to enter the cave. After talking to him, teleport to the Waypoint and look back to find a couple of wooden boxes right in front of the Waypoint. The Pass is located on one of them and it’s called Green-Edged Paper Slip.

Once you get the Green Pass, go back to Tisoc’s location and you’ll find Poca standing in his place. She explains that this cave is the site of the mother Flamegranate tree’s roots, and it’s always guarded. Of course, since Tisoc is not there, you agree to enter the cave and look for him.

Shortly after entering the cave, you’ll find Tisoc unconscious. He’ll be mad at Poca for letting two outlanders in a restricted area, but he’ll ask you to dive deep inside the cave and investigate the tree’s root. Diving deep, you’ll come across a dead end, and you have to break the solidified magma to explore further within the cave. You can do that by turning into Yumkasaurus, grabbing one of the Flamegranates scattered there, and throwing it on the solidified magma.

Once you make it through the hole, you’ll keep finding hooks that you can pull with the Yumkasaurus transformation, and they will summon platforms to allow you to bypass all the water in the area. Eventually, you’ll reach an area filled with Flamegranates and a Ruin Guard. Use one of the Flamegranates to break the wall on the second floor before activating the mechanism that will open a gate with a Precious Chest and another mechanism behind it. Once you open the chest, infuse the mechanism with Phlogiston to summon Sigils that will help you cross to the other side.

There’s another solidified magma wall there that needs breaking the same way as before. Inside, you’ll get a task to go to the lower levels of the Flamegranate’s roots. You can do so by following all the Coilgrass Sigils leading to the bottom of the cave. Tisoc explains that the roots are not connected to the lava anymore, and you need to get the lava level to rise and touch the roots. This part is a little tricky since you’ll immediately see the wall you need to break with Flamegranates, however, you can only do so from the other side. Basically, stay on the wall to the right until you see a path that leads to the other side of the breakable wall.

After breaking the wall, the lava level will start rising, and you’ll have to race your way out. Follow the same sigils back from where you came from to complete the Ripe For Trouble quest and get the For the Fairest achievement in Genshin Impact. After the quest is done, exit the cave, and you can find Poca right next to the tree. Initiate a conversation with her to get the money she promised to pay.
