Genshin Impact: Wolfhook Locations

After Genshin Impact players upgrade a character to level 20, they will reach the cap that allows for a powerful upgrade known as ascension. Similarly to most games that offer weapon character enhancements. This upgrade requires several different materials, depending on the character. Players hoping to ascend certain characters will find themselves in need of a rare ingredient known as Wolfhook.

Wolfhook is a Mondstadt “Local Specialty” that resembles a large, barbed, blueberry. The fruit can be found growing on the map in certain locations, though players can also purchase some from a plant-vending NPC.

It’s extremely easy to find Wolfhook locations in Genshin Impact as the material is centered in one specific location. Wolfhook will respawn once every two days, so desperate players might as well purchase some from wandering merchants.

Wolfhook Locations In Genshin Impact

For foragers, Wolfhook should be rather easy to locate. Fortunately, Wolfhook only grows in a single location in Teyvat: the aptly named Wolvendom. Wolfhook can be found growing at the base of dead trees, and near bushes, throughout Wolvendom, which is found directly southwest, across the moat from Mondstadt. Players can also go to southwestern Wolvendom to collect more materials.

Teleport to Wolvendom’s Waypoint and follow the dirt path west to collect some Wolfhooks. Once players find themselves close to Andrius Dominator of Wolves’ area, turn around and head east to collect even more ascension materials in Genshin Impact.

There is a decent number of Wolfhooks on one side of the Andrius boss area. From the same Waypoint, travel to the Wolf of the North boss challenge in Genshin Impact and head to the southern parts of the arena to find some Wolfhooks, seven to be exact.

Players with some extra Mora in hand can save some time by simply purchasing Wolfhook from the wandering rare plant salesman, Chloris. Chloris sells valuable ingredients on the road leading east out of the City of Mondstadt next to Windrise, so players can take a stroll around there if they’re hoping to buy some Wolfhook.
