Hades 2 features a major update to the crafting and upgrade systems that were featured in the original. In particular, the variety of crafting materials used in these systems has been dramatically increased. While some of these items are relatively easy to find, there are a select few that require Melinoë to venture deep into both major gameplay paths. Here, we will focus on one of the rarest materials that can be found in the Underworld: Marble.
Marble is an extremely rare crafting material in Hades 2, found only in the final area of the Underworld, Tartarus. This guide will show players where Marble can be found, and how to reliably encounter it during your journey to take down Chronos.
Hades 2
is currently in Early Access
. Because of this, there is a chance that the game will undergo several changes before the official 1.0 release. This guide will be updated if any significant changes occur to the process of collecting Marble.

How to Get Marble in Hades 2
Make sure you bring the
Crescent Pick
with you on any run to get Marble. You do not want to get to Tartarus and realize you forgot to bring the pick!
Marble is found in the Tartarus region of Hades 2. While it is easy enough to state its location, it is actually quite a chore to actually get there and make sure you find the item you mine to get the material. To reach Tartarus, you first have to pass through Erebus, Oceanus, and the Fields of Mourning, defeating the guardians of each region respectively. Once you defeat the Infernal Beast and drop into Tartarus, there is one thing you will want to look for.
Where to Find Marble in Tartarus:
Once you enter the mechanical nightmare that is now Tartarus, there is one thing you want to look out for: white busts/statues. These white marble busts are what you will destroy with your pick to collect Marble in Hades 2.
Just like most of the materials found in Hades 2, exactly where these statues will show up is based on RNG – essentially chance. However, there is one location in Tartarus that seems to always have one of these statues inside.
Spoiler Warning!Be careful, story spoilers ahead!
Where to Farm Marble in Hades 2:
While calling it a ‘farming’ location is likely going overboard, there is one chamber in Tartarus that seems to always have one Marble statue: the chamber where Hades is being held captive. To find this chamber, look for the same symbol that shows up when you enter the chambers of Arachne, Narcissus, and Echo. In Tartarus, this symbol leads to Hades. In this chamber, players will find a Marble bust.
Currently, the white marble busts are the only known way to get the Marble crafting material. If any methods are added in subsequent updates, they will be included here.
