A Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed details about Rappa, a mysterious character that will allegedly debut in version 2.6 later this year. Honkai: Star Rail will expand its playable roster with some new units, such as Lingsha, Feixiao, and Rappa, in future versions. Much like previously introduced units, they will appear on event banners temporarily.

Based on leaks, Honkai: Star Rail will introduce at least two new characters in every update. These characters will allegedly be Lingsha and Feixiao in version 2.5, which wouldn’t surprise anyone, considering they already received their drip marketing campaigns weeks ago. As for other upcoming units, Rappa and Fugue, they will most likely arrive in version 2.6 or beyond. As of writing, details about them are very scarce, but a new leak has given an insight into one of their skill sets.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Reveals Important Detail About Sunday

A new Honkai: Star Rail leak gives more information about the fan-favorite character Sunday, who is expected to join the roster in the coming months.

A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak from HomDGCat has revealed fresh details about Rappa, explaining how the character’s technique, ultimate, and basic attack will work. After using their ultimate, Rappa will receive an extra turn and three enhanced basic attacks. These enhanced attacks will deal AoE damage and reduce the enemy’s toughness regardless of its weakness type. That means Rappa will easily deplete the target’s toughness bar and make it suffer a debuff and additional damage.

Honkai: Star Rail’s Rappa Will Allegedly Ignore Enemy Weakness

If this leak is true, Rappa will ignore the enemy’s weakness and reduce its toughness meter with every enhanced basic attack. The upcoming unit will focus on putting the target in the Weakness Broken state like Honkai: Star Rail‘s Xueyi. The leak also states that Rappa will enter a combat state and block all incoming attacks using the technique.

Speaking of toughness, a recent leak claims Honkai: Star Rail will add a new toughness type in version 2.5 next month. Details about how it works are currently scarce, but it’s said to be another opportunity to trigger Weakness Break and make the enemy suffer additional damage. As per the leak, Feigned Toughness will be approximately 25% of the original Toughness, meaning characters will deplete it more easily.

There is a likelihood that Rappa will make their playable debut in the same version as Honkai: Star Rail‘s Sunday. Some recent leaks suggest he will arrive in version 2.6, which will allegedly be released in mid-October. For the unaware, Sunday previously appeared in a teaser trailer with his sibling, Robin. He was described as a five-star Physical character who deals DoT damage. It was said that once the Astral Express crew returns to Penacony for a new story chapter, Sunday will become playable in Honkai: Star Rail.
