Ubisoft’s newest 2.5D Metroidvania title, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, is the first major installment in the Prince of Persia series in the past decade. This magical action-adventure platformer game is set in a mythological Persian world, where players can manipulate the boundaries of space and time to suit their needs.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for another chance to explore the majestic land of Persia, ever since the release of the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake was delayed indefinitely. Thankfully, the days of waiting have finally come to an end, as the newest title in the Prince of Persia franchise now offers an early access opportunity.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Early Access

In the last few weeks of 2023, the Prince of Persia Twitter account announced that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown officially debuts on January 18, 2024. That said, there are two exceptions: subscribers to the Ubisoft+ gaming subscription or people who pre-ordered the game’s Deluxe Edition. If someone satisfies one of these circumstances, they have had access to the game since January 15, 2024. Also, pre-orders include a special outfit inspired by Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

It should be noted that if someone wants to play The Lost Crown early, they need to get a Premium account for Ubisoft+, as the Classics tier does not include early access. This costs $17.99 per month, and requires Ubisoft Connect. The subscription is available on PC and Xbox, along with Amazon Luna.
