Like all gacha games, Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade uses a unique currency to pull on banners and unlock new characters. Cube (or Kaiju) is Phantom Parade’s exclusive gacha currency, allowing you to pull ten times on any of the F2P banners when you accumulate 3,000 of them. The catch is that Phantom Parade isn’t very generous with Cubes and has capped most farming methods. So, players often wonder if farming Cubes is even possible. If not, what are some reliable ways to maximize Cube gains? Here’s a guide to answer all these questions.

Can You Farm Cubes in Phantom Parade?

Unfortunately, Phantom Parade doesn’t allow players to farm Cubes. As a gacha game, it encourages players to use microtransactions to purchase Cube bundles. However, there are still some F2P methods to earn extra gacha currency. The downside is that most of these methods are capped, so don’t expect to earn a lot.

What Are the Best Methods for Getting More Cubes?

The two primary resources for getting Cubes are Story Events and Campaign missions. Story Events are limited-time activities that involve multiple missions with Normal and Hard modes. Completing these missions can earn you a few thousand Cubes, and you can also use the event’s exchange shop to get extra Cube prizes. The campaign gives you 50 Cubes per episode, which can help you accumulate nearly 5,000 Cubes, as these episodes are tied to other objectives that also reward you with Cubes.

Here’s every method for earning Cubes in Phantom Parade.

Story Events

During these limited-time events, you’ll complete 8 to 10 episodes of side stories, with each episode rewarding you with 30 to 50 Cubes. Additionally, you’ll earn thematic currencies like Exorcist Medals, which can be exchanged in the event shop for a chance to win more Cubes.

Campaign

Each campaign mission rewards you with 50 Cubes for the first clearance. Since campaign episodes are linked to some side quests in the Missions section, you can also earn bonus Cubes, which can be as high as 150 Cubes for certain episodes.

Novice Missions

Beginner players in Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade can complete basic objectives to earn extra Cubes. For example, one Novice Mission rewards 1,000 Cubes for changing your Assistance character. To complete this, simply go to your Profile, edit the “Assistance Info” section, and swap the default hero for one of your other characters.

Completing all Novice Missions will reward you with a Guaranteed SSR Gacha Ticket. You can use this ticket to pull one of your targeted heroes, helping you save on Cube consumption.

Hero Rank Up

Ranking up your characters rewards you with Cubes, though the amount is relatively small. However, since ranking up is a key part of progression and there are many characters in the game, you can take advantage of this feature to farm some additional Cubes over time.

Resource Exchange

In the “Exchange” menu, under the “Rec. Bits” tab, you can trade your excess or unwanted Recollection Bits for Gacha Tickets. While these tickets are different from Cubes, they can be used in the same way to pull on gacha banners, making them somewhat interchangeable.

Only consider exchanging your Recollection Bits for Gacha Tickets if your team is fully upgraded and you have no further use for the remaining bits.

Promo Code

Occasionally, Phantom Parade releases promo codes that offer free Cubes. While the rewards are usually small, they’re worth claiming since they don’t require any grinding.

How Should You Exploit Cubes in Phantom Parade?

Save your Cubes and focus on accumulating your gacha currencies instead of pulling on featured banners right away. A smart strategy is to reroll early in Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade and secure at least two META SSR heroes (Gojo and Yuta are great choices). After that, avoid pulling on any banners and hold onto your Cubes until new heroes are released. This way, you can decide whether or not to pull when the time comes.

In my own F2P account, I managed to pull Yuta during rerolls, then used my guaranteed SSR ticket to get Gojo. These two characters have made progressing through the story easy, letting me save up every Cube I earn.

What Should You Do With Exclusive Gacha Points?

If you decide to pull on gacha banners, make sure to use your Exclusive Gacha Points to unlock more characters. Every time you spend Cubes, you passively earn Gacha Points, which can be exchanged for SSR units. Simply go to the Exchange menu and head to the Gacha Points tab. Keep in mind that the available heroes rotate regularly, so you can save up your Points and wait for a hero you want.
