Sand Claw is an indispensable resource that you will need for further progress in the game. Without it, it is impossible to modify the Crafting Bench to Rare level. Obtaining it can be dangerous, as you will have to fight against sand wolves that are much stronger than the ones you met in the grasslands. Before you go into battle, you’ll need to be well-prepared, but don’t worry because we’ve made a checklist of items that will help you survive in your quest to obtain Sand Claws in Lego Fortnite.

Lego Fortnite: How to Find Sand Claw

As mentioned above, to get a Sand Claw, you must kill a sand wolf. You’ll get four of these items for killing one sand wolf, but before you go into battle, you need to know more about the enemy, where to look for it, and how to beat it.

Compared to ordinary wolves, this one is much stronger because, with each attack, it will do more and more damage to you. You can find this enemy only at night, and only in one of the following biomes:

To help you survive this fight, we’ve created a checklist of items you need to bring with you:

• Sword – The enemy has a lot of health, so it’s a good idea to have at least a sword with you. Of course, you can try to defeat it with just your bare hands, but it will take longer.
• Shield – As mentioned above, each enemy attack deals more and more damage, so bringing a shield is a must.
• Snow Berry – All locations where the sand wolf spawns have high temperatures, so you need to protect yourself from overheating during the battle. Also, at night, it will be cold, so you should have something to warm yourself.
• Torch – Given that you can only find the sand wolf at night, sometimes you will have to light up the area, for example, to retreat.
• Food – A must-have to restore your health if you’ve been damaged.

So when you’re ready, head to one of the above biomes to find a sand wolf. It usually spawns frequently, and you can identify it by its orange fur and red eyes. If you see two wolves at once, it’s best not to engage in combat, as it’s too dangerous.

When you finally see the enemy, the last thing left to do is to defeat it. It is worth mentioning that the attack mechanics are identical to the ordinary wolves that you have fought before. Here are some tips you can use to defeat the enemy faster:

• Dodge: Make sure to dodge in different directions to avoid the sand wolf’s dashes.
• Maneuver: In addition to dodging, it’s also a good tactic to find an object that you can run around. This way, it will disorient the enemy, and you can run away from it more easily, for example, to restore your stamina.
• Hit and run: A good method would be to stand in front of the sand wolf and wait for it to attack. When it does, step forward, hit it, and step back to dodge the attack again. Repeat this until the enemy is dead.

After defeating the enemy, go to the place where the sand wolf died and take the Sand Claws.
