Like most Souls-like games, Lies of P features character stats that control different attributes of the character in the game. For instance, Vigor indicates the player’s stamina, while Vitality depicts their health.
Stats are important to know and understand as they play a key role in determining a player’s success and survival in the game. This guide covers the best stats to level up in Lies of P.
Lies of P: How to Gesture
Expressing feelings through gestures adds a unique touch to the Lies of P gameplay. Here’s how to perform them.
Stats to Level up First in Lies of P
Most players believe that investing in Advance, Motivity, and Techniques first is a better choice, but that is not true. Before leveling up these stats, it is important to have the more significant ones upgraded.
Vitality
Vitality determines the player’s overall health and, therefore, the maximum damage they can withstand. To survive in the game, it is super important to increase the amount of damage players can take before dying.
Leveling up Vitality not only increases HP but also improves Guard Regain and Defense. The former is the ability to recover after attacking an enemy or dodging their hits, while Defense hints at the defense against Fire, Acid, Electric Blitz, and Physical damage. Ideally, Vitality should be racked up to 30-35 before taking on late-game bosses.
Vigor
The Vigor stat determines the stamina or energy of the player in the game. In simple words, it decides the player’s ability to attack and dodge without running out of energy. If players do not have adequate stamina, it will not allow them to land consecutive hits, jeopardizing their chances of survival in the game.
Leveling up Vigor after increasing Vitality will make the first few boss fights a piece of cake. Before reaching the final stages of Lies of P, it is advised to have Vigor at 15 to 25.
Capacity
The Capacity stat depicts the player’s ability to carry weight without slowing down. Increasing capacity is especially useful for those who like to wield heavy weapons and Legion Arms. But that’s not all; as the game advances, players will collect more items, the weight of which will naturally slow them down. If the equipment load surpasses 60%, players will see the ‘slightly heavy’ status.
In that case, players will have to let go of heavier items, which isn’t always the best solution. Therefore, it is crucial to increase capacity to be able to carry more items without slowing down or having to remove items.
