Knowing what to buy and sell can help players sort their inventory in Lords of the Fallen.

Lords of the Fallen is a soulslike game by Hexworks that introduces a new dual-world system. Players can traverse the regular world, but after dying, once they wake up in the Umbral. The latter is filled with all kinds of dangers, so the best course of action is to leave Umbral as quickly as possible.

Players wanting to traverse both Umbral and the regular world will have to be ready for everything. Thus, it is imperative to look for the right things to buy to fill up the inventory. Likewise, carrying too many items can be a burden, and players are better off selling them.

Given the fact that it is a soulslike game, it is obvious that players will die multiple times, and they will farm Vigor before taking on some of the stronger enemies in the game. The repetitive runs can lead to a buildup of resources that are better off being sold to a merchant. The most common things that players will find during their runs are weapons and armor. Even after just a few runs, gamers will be surprised to see how many weapons they have accumulated in such a short period of time. In such cases, players should go to a merchant and sell all the extra copies of an armor. Since it is possible to dual-wield in Lords of the Fallen, keep two copies of weapons and offload the rest.

Having one of every armor and weapon is necessary to earn the Weapon Clad and Ironclad trophies.

Depending on your style of play, you may also want to get rid of items such as salts and wards to clear up the inventory.
