The Ghost Of The Goblet bounty will be the new bounty added when players reach Port Brilehaven in Metaphor: ReFantazio. While it only has four diamonds on the difficulty ranking, this boss can be much more difficult than you may expect.

The Fatolich is found in the Tomb Of Lament, only two days away from Port Brilehaven. Before taking on this bounty, it’s best to find and accept the Chalice Of Legends quest, as that and this bounty are completed side by side.

Metaphor: ReFantazio – How To Recover MP

MP management is a key factor in dungeon exploration in Metaphor: ReFantazio; here’s how to recover MP easily.

  • Bring at least two Healer lineage Archetypes on anyone with a high magic stat.
  • Bring at least two Brawler lineage Archetypes, ideally the Pugilist.
  • Have at least one party member with Matarukaja, ideally through Skill Inheritance on the Healer, from the General Archetype.

This boss fight relies heavily on buffs and debuffs, especially on the first turn. Make sure anyone using the Pugilist Archetype has the Power Thrust skill, as it lowers the defense of the enemy. If you have a party member who knows Charge, be sure to have that equipped on a Pugilist, and cook the Almighty Stew or Amber Stew recipes to add additional damage-boosting buffs.

Metaphor: ReFantazio – Where To Get Blessed, Graced, & Heavenly Water

Blessed, Graced, and Heavenly Water is used to purify gear at the church in Metaphor: ReFantazio; here’s how to get each one.

The key to this fight is spending the entire first turn setting up the second turn. During your first turn, hit the enemy with any light spells you have to gain more Press Turn icons but use Power Thrust from the Pugilists to lower the Fatolich’s defense. Also, use Matarukaja on the Healer’s second turn around, and any of the recipes that boost damage, with the goal to get the boss to as low of a defense and your attack as high as possible.

All damage done during the first turn is practically useless, as the Fatolich will use its first turn to summon a Chimenza that uses Deiamahan right away to restore 1,500 HP to the Fatolich. This happens no matter what you do, so worry about buffs more than getting turn-one damage in. After the Chimenza has been summoned and the Fatolich has been healed, spend your second turn dealing as much damage as possible.

Both Pugilists will have access to Crushing Fists while the Healers will have light spells. The two can also be combined to use the Synthesis skill Super Energy Ray, which deals very high damage to the Fatolich. With your party landing all hits, you’ll be guaranteed two rounds of attacks with all party members with boosted attacks against the Fatolich’s debuffed defense. Just be sure to save one Press Turn icon for the Healer’s party-wide healing before it switches over to the enemy.

This should defeat the Fatolich in one, maybe two turns depending on your level and stats, leaving only the Chimenza. The Chimenza is only level 28 and is much weaker, also being weak to wind spells if you have any. If your attack is still buffed, this enemy can easily be taken out with one or two turns of attacks from your party.

In terms of defense, both of these enemies shouldn’t have much of a chance to attack, but if they do you’re only main fear is a party-wide dark attack from the Fatolich and individual electric skills from the Chimenza. Be sure to bring an item or spell to cure paralysis, otherwise, this fight should be a breeze.
