  • Massive discounts up to 90% off on AAA titles like Resident Evil, Legos, and more on Xbox 360 store.
  • Nostalgic charm of playing original Xbox games magnified with history-steeped discounts of 40-95%.

The Microsoft Store is offering more original Xbox and Xbox 360 titles at a discounted price before its official closure on July 29th 2024. While numerous Xbox 360 game sales have been happening for quite some time, the discounts keep getting bigger, and new titles continue to be included in the sale. As new titles are added to the discount list, previously included games continue to have reduced prices as well. Some of these will be delisted permanently, so many fans may be interested in picking up digital copies.

A lot of the titles included in this bargain sale are only playable on the Xbox 360. Whether the developers decide to port them over, or whether Microsoft eventually releases them is a different story. There’s also a small list of original Xbox titles that may be something that would interest classic gamers. Games such as BLACK are available on the Xbox 360 store, albeit only playable if an internal hard drive is available.

Granted, the current list of games that are backward compatible for the Xbox Series X/S is a long one. Some of the titles included in the current sale have since received full-fledged remakes or ports, such as Resident Evil 4 and Skyrim. However, there still lies a very nostalgic feeling about experiencing them as they were originally released from the original console. With discounts ranging from 40% to 95%, it might be hard for the average gamer to refuse purchasing a piece of history on their classic consoles for such a bargain price.

Some of the games added to the bargain list are considered by many to be some of the best Xbox 360 games ever. While the closure of the Xbox 360 store is a sad moment, being able to purchase the console’s best titles at a reasonably affordable price may seem like a good trade-off before saying goodbye to the Xbox 360 store. With the end coming near, many fans will surely want to check out the sales that the store has to offer.
