What is Monopoly GO Prize Drop?

As mentioned above, the main objective of Prize Drop is to drop a token into one of two bumpers before landing it onto one of the bottom slots. Similar to all other festivities in the game, this event is also accessible for a very short time window, so players must take advantage of it and maximize their in-game rewards. How To Play Prize Drop Event

Unlike other events, playing Prize Drop is a bit tricky, especially for beginners. The steps for participating and playing the Prize Drop mini-game are as follows:

Begin the Minigame and Choose Multiplier

While the event is live, and you’ve stacked up some tokens, tap on the Prize Drop icon on the right side of the screen. First, choose the Peg-E Token Multiplier (it works just like the dice multiplier) and drop the chips. Needless to say, a higher multiplier will multiply the rewards you earn.

Dropping the Chips

Below the Peg-E token bar, you’ll find five drop buttons. Pressing these buttons will release the tokens. As they descend, your aim is to land them on the bumpers strategically placed below. Successfully hitting the bumpers can yield various rewards such as dice rolls, cash, and additional tokens. Aim to maximize your hits by ensuring your tokens strike the bumpers as they make their way down

The buttons positioned at either the far left or far right offer the best chances of hitting the bumper targets.

How to Collect Peg-E Tokens (Prize Drop Chips)

Accumulating Peg-E Chips is the only way to participate and win in the Prize Drop event. Here are some ways to acquire these chips.

Events and Tournaments (Only for Event Participation)

No surprises here. Tournaments and daily events remain the best avenues for gathering Peg-E Tokens. Players can participate in tournaments and events, and complete milestones. In addition to Peg-E tokens, players can also secure extra rolls and a 4-star Sticker Pack (5 in rare instances) by leading the Tournament Table.

Shop Rewards

As an added incentive for playing the game regularly, Shop Rewards offers free rewards every 8 hours. While the Prize Drop is active, Shop Rewards might also include these tokens in the rewards during the Prize Drop Event. So it would be best to keep an eye on the timer and grab these free rewards as soon as they are unlocked.

Quick Wins

In addition to the Shop Rewards in Monopoly GO, players must also keep a keen eye on your Quick Wins section, as it updates daily. Completing these wins will increase your chances of earning free Prize Drop chips. The Quick Wins section comprises 3 easy objectives (like rolling a dice, collecting stickers, and upgrading landmarks) that can be accomplished easily.

Purchasing Prize Drop Chips

Players willing to spend real money can purchase Prize Drop chips through in-game purchases.
