When it did happen, fans got to see an incredible clash, where Momoshiki utilized the powers of his Rinnegan to quite an extent.

While Momoshiki possessed the Six Paths Powers, just like any regular Rinnegan user, he mostly relied on its ability to absorb chakra and expel it using his second Rinnegan. Overall, this was quite a solid Rinnegan ability, but his skills with this eye can be considered to be the weakest.

Madara Uchiha managed to awaken the Rinnegan moments before his death. After finally integrating the chakra of Asura with his own, he managed to gain the eye of the Sage of Six Paths. Madras could use the absolutely extraordinary Six Paths Powers, and on top of that, he could also use the incredible power of Limbo, where he could summon the shadows from an alternate realm that could only be seen or touched by those of Six Paths powers.

Madara was absolutely incredible as a user of the Rinnegan. In fact, his Rinnegan also made it to many other users. For instance, Madara put his Rinnegan inside of Nagato when he was a baby, and he grew to control this eye brilliantly. In fact, Nagato himself can be considered to be one of the very best users of the Rinnegan. Later on, Obito took this for himself, although he could only control one since holding the power of two was simply too difficult for him. Eventually, the eye made its way back to Madara, who himself ended up serving as a vessel for Kaguya.

When Sasuke was put on the brink of death, Hagoromo gifted half of his chakra to him, and this led to his left eye turning into a Rinnegan.

Sasuke’s Rinnegan could do everything that Madara’s could. The only difference was that he did not have Limbo, but instead had a Space-Time ninjutsu called amenotijikara, which allowed him to swap himself with any nearby object within a certain range instantaneously. As Sasuke’s mastery over the eye grew, he could also rip open portals in space-time and travel to anywhere.

Shibai was an Otsutsuki who came to Earth a millennia ago, and, ever since then, he has ascended greatly.

For many years, he went from planet to planet consuming chakra fruit, and eventually, he consumed so many that he ascended to godhood. He actually left his mortal body behind and became something else entirely. Shibai possessed the Rinnegan, but fans do not know how strong it was exactly.
