The upcoming Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions game has confirmed that Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, Cho Chang, and Ron Weasley will be part of the playable roster. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is an upcoming sports game based on the Wizarding World’s Quidditch sport, wherein players fly around on brooms and attempt to throw objects through hoops, all the while one person on their team, the Seeker, tries to catch the elusive Golden Snitch. Quidditch is the Wizarding World’s most popular sport, and it has been a big hit with Harry Potter franchise fans as well. Real-world versions of Quidditch exist, and the sport has also been represented in various video games over the years.
Unfortunately for Quidditch fans, 2023’s open world Harry Potter action-RPG Hogwarts Legacy skipped Quidditch. Fans have been calling for Hogwarts Legacy to add Quidditch DLC for quite some time, but it doesn’t appear that it is in the cards. Instead, Harry Potter enthusiasts wanting their Quidditch fix will have to check out Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, set to launch on multiple platforms on September 3.
