The Biggest Changes In The Once Human’s July 18 Patch Update

Gameplay Updates

The biggest standout feature to make its way into Once Human with the July 18 patch update is the new gameplay event. Every night from 9 PM until 10 PM, a Rosetta Truck will make its way across the highways of the Red Sands region. Players participating in this event will be able to obtain Sproulets, which can be dropped from the truck if players ram their vehicles into it. This event will feature no durability loss or gear drops, allowing players to engage with the vehicle without worry. However, PvP will be enabled during this event, so players will need to be vigilant of other metas.

If a new in-game event isn’t enough, completionists will be glad to know that the update also brings an additional side task: “Feed the Children.” This task can be found within the Broken Delta region, just northeast of the Sunbury Middle School.

Gameplay Tweaks

The Once Human July 18 patch update also brings some small gameplay tweaks that, while not exactly changing up the overall gameplay too much, do provide some small adjustments here and there. The first of these changes is the increase to the Warband weekly donation limit. A limit for the Evolution’s Call scenario weekly donations has also been introduced.

That’s not all, as the detection radius of Spacetime has also been buffed, making it much easier for players to come across hidden Mystical Crates and other goodies while exploring. On a less exciting note, the rarities of certain food items have been adjusted. These food items include Shattered Bread, Safety Sandwich, Ghost Cookie, Fat-Burning Juice, Stargazy Pie, and Bacon Burger.

Whilst not exactly gameplay-related, this latest patch also disables the feature that merges worlds, which is bound to mitigate some of the game’s server issues.
