7 Monkey D. Garp

Age: 78 Years

Monkey D. Garp is one of the most loved One Piece characters. Garp joined the Marines many years prior to the current timeline, and he has served them loyally. In fact, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call him the greatest Marine of all time.

In his prime, Garp fought against the likes of Gol D. Roger, Shiki, and Rocks D. Xebec. He was the only Marine who cornered Roger and came close to killing him. Garp does not have any Devil Fruit, but his Haki is on a completely different level from most characters. Even in his old age, Garp was able to destroy an entire town with a single punch. Moreover, he dominated Kuzan in the fight, despite being outnumbered.

6 Sengoku

Age: 79 Years

Sengoku is the former Fleet Admiral of the Marines. He likely assumed the position after Kong was promoted to commander-in-chief. Sengoku was the first Marine who was confirmed as a user of all three types of Haki. In addition to his Haki, Sengoku also possesses the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu, which allows him to transform into a golden Buddha. In his morphed state, Sengoku takes on the form of a giant golden Buddha capable of emitting shockwaves from the palm of his hands. Despite stepping down from his position, Sengoku remains a powerful combatant.

5 San Juan Wolf

Age: 99 Years

San Juan Wolf was imprisoned on level 6 of Impel Down. The giant would have remained in the facility if it weren’t for Blackbeard. Not much is known about San Juan Wolf except for the fact that he is considered one of the worst criminals in history.

At some point in the past, San Juan Wolf ate the Deka Deka no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to increase the size of his body. 4 Five Elders

Age: Over 100 Years

The Five Elders are second only to Imu in terms of authority. Each of them is fiercely loyal to Imu, and they carry out the latter’s orders without fail. For most of the series, it was unclear whether the Five Elders had any combat prowess or they were just bureaucrats.

In the Egghead arc, it was revealed that they are all elite fighters, capable of taking on someone with Luffy’s strength. All Five Elders have a Yokai form that greatly bolsters their strength and grants them special abilities. They also have insanely quick regeneration, making it almost impossible to kill them. Morley is the commander of the Western forces of the Revolutionary Army. Before joining the organization, Morley was imprisoned inside Impel Down, but she managed to escape with the help of her Oshi Oshi no Mi. Morley did it before Shiki, but the information was never publicized.

As a giant, Morley has immense physical power with which she can take down her enemies with ease. Morley’s Devil Fruit allows her to reshape the ground freely, and she can use it to block incoming attacks and throw her opponent off balance. With an age of over 1000 years, Zunesha is the oldest known character in One Piece.
