A talented Overwatch 2 fan artist has recently designed a new set of skins inspired by Avatar: The Last Airbender, which successfully shows how epic a crossover between the two worlds would be. These concepts combine the clothing style of popular Avatar characters with Overwatch 2 heroes.
As Season 11 goes on, Overwatch 2 is preparing to release an exciting Transformers crossover and the annual Summer Games event, both of which launch on July 9. Blizzard has also released a digital comic strip that teased four Transformers-themed skins for the upcoming crossover event. Additionally, Season 11 adds a bunch of Mythic Weapon Skins and a new Push map called Runasapi, which provides players with another location to play on.

Overwatch 2 releases a comic strip which features a couple of Transformers characters, teasing upcoming hero skins for the next collaboration event.
The fan art featuring skin concepts was shared by Reddit user TheKetamineEmperor, featuring imaginative takes on Overwatch 2 heroes, such as a Ty Lee-inspired skin for Tracer or Hanzo being turned into Prince Zuko. The fan artist has created skin concepts for a total of 17 heroes out of 40, and all of them perfectly incorporate elements from the Avatar series. The post has gathered a massive number of upvotes with comments that highly praise the artworks.

All of these skins posted by TheKetamineEmperor show how great a crossover between Overwatch 2 and Avatar: The Last Airbender could be. Aside from the Transformers crossover event, the July 9 update for Overwatch 2 will add summer-themed skins for Cassidy, Orisa, Bastion, and many other heroes. In the past, Blizzard has also brought back older skins associated with the event and provided a slight discount, though at this time, nothing official has been revealed quite yet.
In another recent development, Overwatch 2 players have recently spotted mysterious meteors seen on multiple maps. Though it has not been confirmed, the fans are speculating that this could be a teaser for Season 12’s new hero, Space Ranger. Some of them also think that this could just be a hint for the Transformers crossover event.
There have also been certain changes in Overwatch 2‘s Season 11, meant to balance the gameplay to ensure a fair and competitive environment.
