Even though there aren’t very many meals to make in Palia, there are a few that will really bring in a good amount of currency. Plus, having fewer recipes means less time players have to spend hunting them down, purchasing them, and building up the skills necessary to cook them. Out of the ones that exist, these are the most valuable food dishes and their recipes.

5 Apple Pie

To access this recipe, a level 3 relationship with Delaila is needed. Raising friendship levels in Palia is pretty simple. Just give the characters the right gifts and interact with them daily to earn points towards their friendship bar.

Once that’s complete, players can access her room where there is a green book on the counter. Recovering the book unlocks the Apple Pie recipe.

4 Poke Bowl

Unfortunately, this recipe cannot be made anymore by those who don’t yet have access to it. The Poke Bowl was awarded to players who completed the Just Desserts stamp card in the Maji Market event, which was online from August 29 to September 26, 2023. In the Fairgrounds during the evening there was a Market full of different activities and food stands.

Players needed to visit Reth’s Street Specialties, Delaila’s Sweet Treats, and Chapaa Hut, and eat specific foods at each location to obtain the Poke Bowl. While the Maji Market isn’t up any longer, it seems as though it may return at a later date. Those who were lucky enough to get it should use it to rake in some gold!

While it is a little tricky to get, for 118 gold per dish and a pretty simple recipe once it’s in hand, the work is worth it. The Sushi recipe must be fished out of a pond using a glow worm as bait. Those who are good at fishing in Palia can choose to buy glow worms from Einar if they have reached level 10 fishing and get 20 worms for 10 fishing medals.

Those who are good at making money in the game can buy a Glow Worm Farm for 2000 gold and make their own bait once they’ve reached level 7 fishing. Once the recipe has been fished out, making it is the easy part and it only takes two minutes.

One of the highest-value recipes players can buy goes to the Celebration Cake, which is also one of the best foods for focus in Palia. It can be bought from Reth once players reach cooking level 9. Although it does take 3000 gold just to get the recipe, it gives 176 gold per cake when sold.

Given the number of ingredients needed and the stations necessary to make this dish, it’s probably best saved for those well suited for cooking or those prepared to spend a lot of gold before they begin to earn some money back with this recipe.

The most valuable recipe in Palia is the Muujin Bahari. Luckily for players, this is given as part of a main storyline quest. During “Your Order is Served,” Reth gives players Oysters Akwinduu, Petit Fives, and Muujin Bahari so they can help him prepare the dishes.

The Muujin Bahari gives 192 gold per dish sold. However, be warned, as it requires many resources and may take a while to get everything needed to make it. For a quick solution with less work, but for a bit less money, consider selling the most valuable crops instead to cut back on the cooking time.
