How to Unlock Ms. Mowz in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

If you are still very early on in the campaign, unfortunately, you will have to wait a while before you will be able to unlock Ms. Mowz and use her as a partner. To be given the chance to pick up Ms. Mowz, you will first need to complete Chapter 4 in the game, which requires you to visit Twilight Town and defeat Doopliss using some Stylish Moves after they curse the town.

This will come after you complete all the battles in Glitzville in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door‘s Chapter 3. Then, when you’ve completed all the required tasks, return to Rogueport and visit the Trouble Center. This can be found on the eastern side of the city, past the guard who requires you to pay 10 Coins. The room will have a green sign above it. Head inside here, and approach the bulletin board. Scroll through the requests until you find “Elusive Badge!.” You’ll need to complete this to unlock Ms. Mowz.

How to Complete Elusive Badge! in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

After taking the request, make your way to the Rogueport Inn’s second floor, and head out the door on the left. Then, make your way up the staircase to reach the second floor of the Rogueport Plaza, and go over to the rooftop of Zess. T’s house, where you’ll find Ms. Mowz.

After talking to her, she will request that you look for a particular badge for her. To do this, you will want to head back to Hooktail Castle in the Petal Meadows area, where you took the Thwomp Quiz and battled Hooktail. Remember that this spot can be visited through the underground area of Rogueport, through the green pipe on the eastern side of town. When you arrive at the Castle, you’ll want to head all the way to the top where you battled Hooktail. Inside, head to the middle of the room and use Madame Flurrie to blow away the paper that is hiding a chest. Open this up, and the Elusive Badge will be inside.

Then, return to Rogueport and find Ms. Mowz on top of Zess. T’s house like you did earlier. Talk to her, and you’ll hand over the Elusive Badge, also known as the Attack FX B Badge. After completing the quest, Ms. Mowz will officially join your party, and she will also give back the Attack FX B Badge to Mario.
