Fortnite is getting controls that let parents set time limits for how much their children play the game. Parents will be able to pick how much their child can play Fortnite per day, select windows for when they can play, and choose if their child has the ability to ask for more time.

If parents turn time limits on, their children will see an in-game notification when they have 30 minutes left on the clock. Their time is tracked when they play Epic Games-made Fortnite modes like Battle Royale and Lego Fortnite as well as when they play creator-made experiences built with the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).

Parents will also be able to see how much time their child is playing the game with a Time Reports dashboard.
