The second season of the hit Netflix reality series Perfect Match has just finished airing, and fans of the show may be wondering about the present-day status of the five couples that made it to the finale. Hosted by Nick Lachey, Perfect Match brings together various people from other Netflix reality shows and challenges them to find their “perfect match.” They match up, compete in compatibility games, and cause chaos by sending other people in the villa on blind dates in an attempt to break up the strongest couples. The first season of the show was full of shocking twists and turns, and the second season delivered as well.
This article has MAJOR SPOILERS for Seasons 1 and 2 of Perfect Match
Perfect Match Season 1 ended with multiple seemingly happy couples and even a marriage proposal, but after filming wrapped, it didn’t take long for everyone to go their separate ways. None of the couples from the end of Perfect Match Season 1 are still together, not even the winners of the show, and unfortunately, that’s a trend that has continued with Season 2.

It Seems 2 Unexpected Perfect Match Contestants Are Actually Dating in Real Life
Rumors are swirling that two Perfect Match contestants may actually be dating in real life, but an official confirmation has yet to come.
At the end of Perfect Match Season 2, the five couples were Christine and Nigel, Micah and Kaz, Stevan and Alara, Bryton and Elys, and Chris and Tolu. Out of these couples, the strongest was undoubtedly Stevan and Alara (despite Christine and Nigel technically winning the game and being named the Perfect Match), who never broke up after initially matching together, even after being sent on dates with other people. Unfortunately, it seems the stress of a long-distance relationship caused Stevan and Alara to go their separate ways post-show. The other couples suffered similar fates. According to Netflix, Christine and Nigel dated on and off for nine months before splitting up, Micah cut things off with Kaz who is now seeing another woman, Elys and Bryton split due to unspecified drama and both are now seeing other people, and Chris and Tolu broke up after filming.

Netflix also provided an update on Harry and Jess, two individuals who were together for most of their time on the show, but did not make it to the finale. Harry kissed Melinda off-camera while matched with Jess, which created serious drama that ultimately led to their break-up on the show. However, the two dated briefly after filming wrapped. They are no longer together, and no one else from Perfect Match Season 2, whether that be Love is Blind‘s Izzy or The Circle‘s Xanthi, is currently romantically involved with anyone else from the show.
Will There Be a Perfect Match Season 3?
A third season of Perfect Match has yet to be announced at the time of this writing. However, Netflix tends to stick with its reality TV programming far more than it does its scripted shows. The Circle is coming back for Season 7, after all, and considering the popularity of Perfect Match, one has to imagine that a Season 3 is a virtual inevitability at this point.
