The new catch-up event for Pokemon GO comes as Niantic has begun to roll out its next plans for the beloved mobile game. Niantic officially announced Pokemon GO‘s “Timeless Travels” season earlier this week, set to begin on December 1. The new season will introduce several Hisuian forms into Pokemon GO with Hisuian Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott coming to the game among others. “Timeless Travels” will also include special area-specific spawns, including Ampharos spawning more frequently in cities and Smoliv appearing in forests.
With a special event allowing players to catch up on 2023’s Community Days, Niantic is already preparing for the future of the game’s monthly events. Pokemon GO recently revealed its Community Day schedule for Season 13, with two dates coming in January alongside another Community Day on February 4. Rumors have already begun to swirl about January’s first Community Day, suggesting Vanillite may be the first Community Day Pokemon of 2024. With multiple Community Days on the horizon, Pokemon GO fans should have plenty of chances to pick up their favorite creatures.
