More details about Pokemon GO’s upcoming Shared Skies season have been unveiled, including the schedule for its Battle League events. On June 1, the current Pokemon GO World of Wonders season will end, and with it the recently confirmed Shared Skies season will begin. As shown in the announcement trailer posted yesterday, Shared Skies will primarily focus on the Ultra Beasts, a group of powerful extradimensional beings introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Mega Rayquaza was also shown in this trailer, having been brought into Pokemon GO last summer.

Now the developers of Pokemon GO have released a detailed update on what players can expect during the new Shared Skies season, including what will happen when the Battle League festivities kick off on June 1 at 1 PM Pacific Time (or 4 PM Eastern). At the start of the season, the end-of-season rewards will become available to claim on the battle screen, players’ GO Battle League rank will be reset, and rank-up requirements will remain the same as the previous season. From there, several different leagues will be held from June all the way to September 3, which will allow players to challenge each other, earn rewards, and improve their global rankings.
