Pokemon GO: Ultra Unlock Strength of Steel Rewards

During Pokemon GO Fest 2024, the developers challenged players to complete enough challenges to unlock Ultra Unlocks, which would allow players to have new events later on after the festival ended. These Ultra Unlocks come in three different phases: the first is Better Together, and the second one is Strength of Steel.

During the Strength of Steel Ultra Unlock, players will be able to catch a shiny Togedemaru for the first time ever in Pokemon GO. Additionally, the event will have a lot of different bonuses, encounters, research, and so much more. Here’s a breakdown of all the rewards players are getting for unlocking this phase of the Ultra Unlocks.

All Event Bonuses & Research For The Strength of Steel Event In Pokemon GO

The event will have a ton of bonuses that players can take advantage of. The event will give players more Candy when catching Pokemon and they will also be able to get more Stardust. Here’s a breakdown of all the event bonuses that have been announced so far for the entire duration of the event.

Additional Candy XL for catching Pokemon for anyone level 31 and up.
Increased chance for anyone level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for catching Pokemon with Nice Throws or better
Additional Candy for Nice Throws or better
3× Stardust for catching Pokemon

During Research, players will be able to have encounters with the following Pokemon (which can all be shiny), along with Mega Energy for Steelix, Scizor, and Aggron.

Players will also have Timed Research that will give them a Magnetic Lure Module, XP, and even some encounters with the event Pokemon.
