Sea of Stars is an award-winning indie RPG by Sabotage. This old-school-style pixel art game is filled to the brim with secrets, hidden endings, and objects that aren’t immediately obvious how to use. One of the weirder objects is called a Flimsy Hammer. You can get three of these in Sea of Stars, but how and where to use them might not be easy to figure out. Here is how to get each one of them and how to use these weird hammers.
What to Expect From Sea of Stars’ Throes of The Watchmaker DLC
Sea of Stars’ upcoming planned DLC Throes of the Watchmaker may not have a release date yet, but fans are eager for more of one of 2023’s best RPGs.
All Flimsy Hammer Locations in Sea of Stars
To get the flimsy hammers, you first need to complete all the Sea of Stars true ending objectives. These include:
- Getting every building in Mirth built and the NPCs for each recruited
- Defeating the Gun Goddess
- Completing the three Sunken Ruins and killing the Sea Slug
- Taking down the Elder Mist Boss the second time
- Getting B’st and completing all the Coliseum Challenges
- All the Solstice Shrines
- Getting all the Rainbow Conches
- Completing Aventry’s side quest
After finishing this and completing the final bosses, you will need to make a save file and start up the game again. This will allow you to get all the hammers by:
- Defeating all Wheels Champions located all over the map, then defeating the Watchmaker.
- Collecting all Question Packs, then head to the Quizmaster and win on both Casual and Expert difficulties for each of the eleven quiz packs.
- Catching every fish in the game and give them to the Master Fisherman in Mirth.
- Completing the True Ending and defeating the final boss of Sea of Stars.
Where to Use the Flimsy Hammers
Now that you have all the Flimsy Hammers, head to the Ancient Crypt on Settlers’ Island. Interact with the Cryptwalker and give this code: 361241. This code is not found in the game anywhere; it’s the number of one of the graves inside the crypt where the secret is located. When you give the Cryptwalker the code, it will highlight one of the tiles on the floor. Interact with it to head to the room where this grave is located.
Grave 361241 has Never forget Enki – Papa Poule – Dupaquier written on it. Next to it, there is a broken gravestone. Use the Mistral bracelet on it to reveal the underground passage. It should be pretty obvious how to use the hammers in this room in Sea of Stars, one of the best RPGs of 2023.
