Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a number of missions within the game that will test the player’s knowledge of the title’s protagonist and his wealth of abilities. Differing significantly from his Spider-Man partner, Peter Parker, Miles Morales is able to use electric powers to stop bad guys and, in some instances, power up generators and other machines.
In one of the main missions in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, called Curtain Call, players will be required to power up a number of generators with Miles’ abilities in order to uncover a major detail of the game’s main story. This task is not as simple as it may seem, as it requires the use of multiple skills to accomplish it, so this guide will show players how to charge the generators and complete the Curtain Call mission in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

How To Charge The Generators in Spider-Man: Miles Morales
To get inside the containment unit and retrieve the Nuform, players will need to restore power to the four generators around the room while in their favorite Spider-Man suit. While the process of restoring the power is a relatively simple one, the challenge lies in ensuring the links between the generators and the containment unit are also reestablished.
To charge a generator, players will need to approach each of the four units and press L1 + Square to trigger a Venom Punch from Miles. This will reboot the generator, and it will remain turned on. However, for two of the four generators, you will also need to repair the link between the generator and the containment unit. There is no set order to do this correctly, so the instructions below will be in-line with the video above.
How to Restore The First Generator
The first generator is tucked behind a corner and will require Miles to use his webs to give the electricity a path from the generator to the unit. This is a simple process, with players needing only to find the electrical nodes and creating a web between the generator and node to conduct the power through it.
To completely restore the first generator, players will need to create a link between the generator and the first node, then a connection between the first and second node. To do this, simply aim with the L2 button and fire a web at the first point with R1. Then, while still holding L2, hover the reticle over the first node and fire another web to establish a connection. Repeat this between the first and second node and the power will be restored.
Players can scan the room for the location of the generators, power lines, power nodes, and any other points of interest by pressing the R3 (right stick) button.
How to Restore The Second Generator
The second generator is, thankfully, not obstructed like two of the others are. This means that there is no need to interact with the environment or create weblinks to nodes. To restore power here, simply approach the generator and hit it with a Venom Punch by using L1 and Square.

How to Restore The Third Generator
The third generator is on an upper floor within the room, but is easily accessible, given the condition of the room. With that said, it is below the floor once players reach the right room to access it, so a simple Venom Punch won’t suffice to restore the connection here.
Once players reach the upper floor, simply stand over the generator and perform a Venom Smash, which can be done by pressing L1 with X and Square together. There is no severed connection here either, so once the Venom Smash powers up the generator, it will send power to the containment unit.
How to Restore The Fourth Generator
The final generator is perhaps the most challenging to repair as it is hidden behind a large theater screen, so players will first need to figure out how to remove the obstacle so the line between the generator and power node is not interfered with. Thankfully, this will be relatively easy to do once players know where exactly they need to direct Miles’ attention.
To raise the backdrop blocking the generator, players will need to use the mechanism to the right of the backdrop by aiming the camera at it and holding L1 and R1, as instructed on screen. This will only lift it temporarily, so players will also need to rapidly tap the R1 button to stop the mechanism with Miles’ web shooters. Once this is done, it is a simple matter of Venom Punching the generator and creating a web link between it and the power node that is just in front of the backdrop.
Once all generators are restored, players will be taken through another cutscene, which reveals a major detail in the game’s main story. This will be the final interaction in the room before the narrative progresses to another location.
