Summer 2024 Anime Lineup: Where To Watch Every Series

As Spring 2024 comes to an end, the Summer 2024 anime lineup is ready to get started. As always, the season contains over 40 shows, including newcomers and a few notable sequels. While not as stacked as its immediate predecessor, Summer 2024 has quite a few big names like [Oshi no Ko], Tower of God, Fairy Tail, Monogatari, and Suicide Squad Isekai.

If someone would like to watch every Summer 2024 anime, they will need to pick up a bunch of streaming service subscriptions; even then, they will almost certainly miss out on a few shows that will not be available on North American platforms. To simplify the process as much as possible, here are all the Summer 2024 anime lineups for Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, Hulu, and a few other names.

Crunchyroll Summer 2024 Anime Lineup

My Hero Academia, Tower Of God, Monogatari, & More

Crunchyroll has started to announce its Summer 2024 anime, with more than 25 shows confirmed to be streaming on the service. And, the lineup is far from complete and will likely welcome a few more series in the lead-up to the quarter’s full launch.

Along with Spring 2024 continuations such as My Hero Academia and That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime, Crunchyroll’s Summer 2024 anime lineup contains Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season, Senpai is an Otokonoko, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, Mayonaka Punch, and NieR:Automata Ver1.1a Part 2. So far, the selection has quite a bit of variety, despite leaning quite a bit into romance territory.

HIDIVE Summer 2024 Anime Lineup

[Oshi no Ko], Dungeon People, & More

HIDIVE cannot compete with Crunchyroll in terms of quantity, so quality is the only way to go. Unquestionably the biggest show of Summer 2024, [Oshi no Ko] Season 2 is a HIDIVE exclusive, just like its predecessor. The first season was both popular and highly regarded, and the follow-up should be just as good.

Moving away from that sequel, HIDIVE’s Summer 2024 anime lineup features a few more confirmed series, nearly all of which focus on fantasy. Plus-Sized Elf will likely be an acquired taste, but Dungeon People seems like it could be a fun twist on the fantasy genre. I Parry Everything could be a typical “zero to hero” story, and 2.5 Dimensional Seduction should offer a mix of humor and fanservice.

Netflix, Hulu, & Max Summer 2024 Anime Lineup (& Maybe Other Platforms)

My Hero Academia, Suicide Squad Isekai, Kimi ni Todoke, & More

While general streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, and Max do not prioritize seasonal shows, they occasionally have a couple of exclusives. Hulu and Max will be showing Suicide Squad Isekai, arguably the strangest series of Summer 2024. Still, it should be entertaining. Hulu also has three Spring 2024 leftovers, and they are all pretty entertaining.

Netflix has things set for an exciting August 2024, with Kengan Ashura Season 2 Part 2 and Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You Season 3 supposedly dropping during this period. The former has been constantly entertaining, while the latter has been coming for more than a decade.

Now, to be clear, some of these anime will announce platforms over the coming weeks, so anyone interested in watching Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest or The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies should not give up hope.
