Dating is a massive part of The Sims 4 Lovestruck. The expansion introduced players to the Cupid’s Corner dating app, where they can go on a blind date with a random person. It’s a fun way to find an unexpected match who could become someone special in your Sim’s life. Read this guide to learn how to go on a blind date in The Sims 4.

To go on a blind date, players need to access their Sim’s smartphone from the bottom left of the screen. They can open Cupid’s Corner by clicking the heart arrow icon. They will be able to immediately spot the ‘Go on Blind Date’ option, which they can select to start the date – there is no need to open the dating app for this. Players can also invite other Sims as guests on their blind dates, but this is entirely optional.

Since blind dates are meant to be a surprise, players won’t know who they are going to meet. Players can select the type of activities they would like to do with their partner on the date just like if they were to go on a standard romantic date.

Next, players will have to choose a location for their blind date; they can choose any lot in the game for this.

After choosing all the options, fans will be teleported to the date venue to meet their blind date. Here, they can interact with their date partner, hang out, do the selected activities, and complete their date goals to earn rewards.

Blind dates are a social event with objectives and rewards. These objectives are based on your activities and are usually pretty simple, such as:

Apart from blind dates, The Sims 4 Lovestruck expansion offers three other types of dates. These are Get to Know You Dates, Romantic Repair Dates, and Romantic Dates. With these dates, players can meet new Sims, fix their Sims’ troubled relationships, or simply enjoy some quality time with their significant other.

If the date is going well, the partner might ask to extend it, and they can go home together. But if they’re not enjoying it, the player can choose to end it early by clicking the timer or telling their partner directly.
