How to Hire a Maid in The Sims 4
Having a full-time job in The Sims 4 often means working eight hours a day. With that hectic schedule, it can be quite exhausting for Sims to clean their house and do all the house chores themselves. Hiring a maid liberates Sims from the never-ending cycle of household chores and allows them to focus on their careers and chase their dreams. The maid can clean the house, take out the trash, and do laundry, ensuring the Sims’ home remains in tip-top shape.
Kids cannot hire a maid in The Sims 4. This option is only available to Young Adults and older.
To hire a maid, go to the phone and click on the ‘House’ icon. Now select the option of “Hire a Service” followed by the “Cleaning Service” option. The next screen will present Simmers with service options. They can decide between a one-time cleaning or regular cleaning services. If they opt for the regular service, the maid will visit their house daily to maintain cleanliness. Upon selecting the desired option, players will get a confirmation message in the top right corner of the screen, which will also display the scheduled time of the maid’s arrival.
Although hiring a maid seems like a good idea, it is important to note that they can be unreliable at times. So don’t be surprised if the house is still a mess after the maid leaves. That’s not all; maids can also steal items if Sims do not keep an eye on them.
Remember that Sims need to pay the maid after they are finished with their job. When the maid is done with their work, gamers will receive a notification about their wage.
