  • A talented player has created an incredible castle in The Sims 4.
  • The interior of the castle blends modern and classic visual styles seamlessly.
  • Thanks to a computer failure, the amazing castle build has sadly been lost for good.

A Sims 4 player online has shown off their incredible castle build from the game, complete with glamorous interior design. The creation goes to show that despite The Sims 4 turning 10 this year, it’s still possible to create some beautiful builds in the game.

The nature of The Sims 4‘s Build Mode means that players are able to create anything they want within the confines of the game. As the years have passed, players have become more familiar with the tricks required to get the most from Build Mode. Some gamers use this in extremely creative ways – recently, one player created an amazing mobile home in The Sims 4. Not everyone takes this approach, though. Sometimes, creating a huge castle and decorating it extremely lavishly can be just as impressive an achievement, when done right.

Why Project Rene May ‘Kill’ The Sims 4

With all the features that Project Rene promises to bring, the idea of it living in tandem with the dated Sims 4 seems unlikely.

This Sims 4 castle build comes from Redditor LoveClouds_, who shared the creation with the game’s community online. The exterior shot is stunning, with multiple towers adding to the castle’s sense of scale. Inside, the design embraces a mix of modern and classic visual styles in a way that remains coherent, and the individual rooms remain unique while clearly belonging to the same house. Anyone wanting tips on how to build spectacular houses in The Sims 4 should look no further than this castle, as it’s a great example of how amazing interiors can look in the game when time and care have gone into its creation.

The Sims 4 Castle Build

Unfortunately, when asked if this creation was among the castles on The Sims 4 gallery, it became clear that tragedy had struck. According to LoveClouds_, their computer died before they were able to back up the files for the castle, meaning the amazing creation is lost for good. Still, if they were able to create a build as amazing as this in the first place, there’s no doubt they have the talent to create something equally impressive in its place.

While The Sims 4 players continue to show what’s possible in the 10-year-old game, it seems that gamers don’t have long to wait to see what the franchise’s future holds. First announced in 2022, Project Rene promises to be the next big title in the series, although it’s still not clear what the game will actually entail at this point. An alleged Sims 5 leak has fans worried about the upcoming title, but given Maxis’ strong history with the franchise, hopefully, those anxieties will be calmed when the developer reveals the game in full.
