Highlights

  • Honkai: Star Rail’s Argenti is a playable character with two bursts and excellent energy recharge, making him a strong choice for players.
  • Players can tell when Argenti’s second burst is ready by the shinier ring around the burst icon glowing, which does more damage and more instances of damage.
  • Argenti’s kit allows him to generate a lot of Crit rate and energy, lessening the burden of Crit Rate sub-stats and making him a powerful DPS unit.

Honkai: Star Rail fans had seen Argenti before his release in a light cone. Many players were curious about who he was and if he’d be playable, and Honkai: Star Rail did not keep fans waiting for long, as his release finally arrived. Argenti was dropped as a five-star Physical Erudition unit with an interesting detail about his kit luring players in: he has two bursts and very few energy recharge problems despite this.

Honkai: Star Rail‘s Argenti regenerates energy for himself passively as the battle goes on. His first burst is easy to hit, but isn’t always as worth it as his second one. Players can tell when his second burst is ready by the shinier ring around the burst icon glowing. The second burst not only does more damage, but more instances of damage, allowing players to come in stronger on his turn.

Argenti’s Build

Argenti’s kit allows him to generate a lot of Crit rate and energy by himself. Not enough to warrant ignoring Crit Rate sub-stats (although players can get away with ignoring ER sub-stats), but enough to lessen the burden of them. His talent, Sublime Object, can add up to 33% Crit Rate and when he strikes an enemy with any of his abilities (basic attack, skill, or ultimate) he gains 3 energy per enemy. When working on Honkai: Star Rail‘s Argenti’s build and going for his sub-stats, players should go for the usual DPS stats:

  • ATK rope.
  • Crit DMG or Rate body (depends on player’s sub-stats).
  • Physical DMG orb.
  • SPD or ATK boots.

When it comes to equipping Relics, players should look for 4pc Streetwise Boxing to make use of its physical DMG bonus. However, if players do not have a 4pc set readily available, 2pc Streetwise boxing and either 2pc SPD% or ATK% will do just fine. When it comes to farming Planar Ornaments, Firmament Frontline Glamoth is one of his best. But if there is no set available for players or the sub-stats are lacking, Rutilant Arena will substitute just fine.

Argenti’s Light Cones

Finding a free-to-play light cone for Argenti may be difficult for some players. The three-star light cone, Passkey, isn’t ideal for him unless it is the only option players have at the ready. Its stats are too low to be considered usable, especially when there are better four-star options. Not all four-star options will work wonders on him, but there are a select few light cones that players should go for:

  • An Instant Before A Gaze (5-star, Argenti Signature)
  • Before Dawn (5-star, Jing Yuan Signature)
  • Today is Another Peaceful Day (Four-star, Nameless Honor)
  • Geniuses’ Repose (Four-star, gacha)
  • Make the World Clamor (Four-star, gacha)

Argenti’s Team Comps

Argenti has a good number of people he can synergize with. Argenti’s best team comps will consist of a support or two and a healer or shielder. Some very flexible units who can slot into any team, and work here too, are Bronya and Tingyun. Players who have these units will find that they work well alongside Argenti in boosting his damage and making him clear the battlefield quicker. However, characters like Pela and Hanya also work wonderfully alongside him.

Argenti’s Eidolons

For players willing to indulge in his banner a little more than the average one may be able to, his eidolons are a wonderful investment. Especially for Honkai: Star Rail Physical unit Argenti’s first two eidolons. His E1 allows players to gain Crit DMG alongside Crit Rate when his talent activates. This is a wonderful boost since it helps build the players’ stats and lets their Argenti build become even stronger. His E2 is a massive boost to his ultimate, granting 40% extra ATK if there are 3+ enemies on the field.
