A couple of 2024’s greatest RPGs, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Persona 3 Reload, have just received some major discounts at select retailers. Although they were released only a few months ago, both of these titles are now available at historically low prices. This is the perfect opportunity for fans of role-playing games to get these amazing modern-day JRPGs for cheap while they still can.

It’s only been five months so far, but when it comes to gaming, 2024 has gotten off to a rather strong start. From indie hits like Palworld and blockbusters like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, there’s been no shortage of quality games up to this point. Persona 3 Reload and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, two of 2024’s highest-rated games in particular, are some of the year’s most notable highlights. Both of these titles were met with widespread acclaim from fans and critics upon release. Not only are these games some of the best installments in their respective franchises, but they also set the groundwork for what quality turn-based JRPGs should be. As great as they are, though, they were a bit on the costly side at launch, with both titles costing $70 upfront. Now, however, the two games are available at significantly reduced prices.

Hit Open-World RPG Drops to Historically Low Steam Price

A hit open-world RPG with over 650,000 ‘Very Positive’ user reviews matches its lowest-ever Steam and Xbox price as part of a new sale.

Fans of the Yakuza series can currently nab physical PlayStation copies of the franchise’s eighth mainline installment, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, for nearly 60% off on Woot. While the PS4 version of the game costs $29.99, the PS5 edition is slightly more expensive, with it sitting at a reasonable $34.99. Of course, Infinite Wealth‘s last-gen version is backwards-compatible on PlayStation 5, so gamers who want to save a little bit of extra money can opt for a PS4 copy of the game instead.

Getting Persona 3 Reload and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth For These Low Prices is a Steal

Those who are looking for anime-styled JRPGs with social sim elements, on the other hand, can look no further than Persona 3 Reload, which is currently available for $39.99 at GameStop. Fans can choose from the PS4, PS5, and Xbox versions of the game, and get them for $30 less than what they normally cost. That way, players who end up enjoying P3R can use the money they save to purchase the $35 Expansion Pass and gain access to the upcoming Episode Aigis: The Answer DLC. It’s important to note, though, that both Persona 3 Reload and Episode Aigis are part of Xbox Game Pass, so Xbox and PC players can play them there instead.

Persona 3 Reload and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth are easily some of the best Sega-published JRPGs in recent memory, so getting them at such historically low prices will likely be worth it for many role-playing game enthusiasts. When it comes to linear singleplayer games, these two titles are also rather lengthy, so players who enjoy these types of RPGs can certainly get a lot of bang for their buck with these discounts.
