It is important to note that only enemies that are piloted by one person have the chance to drop Tech Scrap. These enemies can be found in locations such as Transcendum Camp, Transcendum Machine Factory, or Rustlock Village. For the best chance of taking them on, you must increase your gear level to 60 or higher. Otherwise, you will not be able to survive the battles in this region.

Tech Scrap is required for many crafting recipes. Among them, Radium Alloy is especially important, since it is needed to obtain ancestral weapons. For Radium Alloy, you will need several materials:

  • Tech Scrap: Kill automaton enemies in the Gloomrot region.
  • Sulfur: Smelt Sulfur Ore in the Furnace.
  • Sludge-Filled Canister: Craft a canister and fill it in one of the yellow lakes in the Gloomrot region.


Use the Furnace to combine all these materials and get the valuable Radium Alloy. After this, you can use the Ancestral Forge to craft ancestral weapons from weaker weapons dropped from bosses and resources such as Radium Alloy.
