World of Warcraft is Collaborating with Shake Shack For 20th Anniversary

A collaboration between Blizzard Entertainment’s MMORPG World of Warcraft and the American restaurant chain Shake Shack has been announced, presenting a limited-edition menu with the perfect meal combo for players. The partnership has been created to honor World of Warcraft‘s 20th anniversary, which is an incredible milestone producing massive rewards for fans both in-game and in the real world.

Launched in 2004, World of Warcraft has been built upon ten major expansions since its debut, including the recent 2024 release The War Within. Before WoW players turn their full attention to the anniversary, World of Warcraft’s Hallows End has returned with new rewards on offer, and players can bag the Patched Harvest Golem transmog set and Prowler’s Faded Headgear and Shoulder Cape during this year’s Halloween event.

The World of Warcraft-inspired Shake Shack menu will include three items to make the ultimate meal: The Horde Burger containing a double cheeseburger with crispy wild boar spices and Red Horde sauce, Alliance Fries with Golden Alliance cheese sauce and crispy bacon, and the Xal’atath Shake made with Ube frozen custard with black sesame glaze and pearl sugar. World of Warcraft’s Gilded Brutosaur mount won’t mind carrying the extra weight once players have fueled up on the delicious-sounding menu, and each item is inspired by The War Within’s main factions Alliance and Horde.

World of Warcraft has increased the Bronze Celebration Tokens amount for this year’s 20th-anniversary event, and fans won’t have to fork out a lot of real-world gold to sample the Shake Shack menu. The promotion will run from November 14 until November 21 exclusively in the UK, available from the Camden, Leicester Square, and Mansion House restaurant locations in London. To join the anniversary celebrations, a collaboration between World of Warcraft and Mountain Dew was also announced, and it sounds like the land of Azeroth is slowly but surely taking over Earth for a period. The soda brand previously partnered with Doritos and Rockstar Energy to give away digital rewards to WoW and Diablo 4 players.

Joining the Halloween and anniversary festivities, World of Warcraft has a new Trading Post catalog for November, which includes a transmog inspired by Sylvanas Windrunner. Players are currently spoiled for choice thanks to the game’s anniversary, proving its popularity over the last 20 years, and fantasy enthusiasts also have two further expansions to look forward to, titled Midnight and The Last Titan, the latter of which is not expected to be released until 2027 at the earliest.

World of Warcraft is an incredibly successful MMORPG that has been going strong for almost two decades. It’s one of the highest-grossing franchises in history and is widely considered the most popular MMORPG ever made.
