However, though World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria has been well-received, players are starting to encounter problems as they reach the endgame. The power level of enemies near the level cap quickly ramps up exceptionally high, making it hard to handle even the most basic of foes without upgrading gear with Bronze. That said, the punishing cost of upgrading items in World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria means fans are struggling to keep up their gear scores, let alone purchase the cosmetics they want. On Twitter, World of Warcraft recently confirmed improvements were coming to the endgame of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, which can hopefully begin to fix some of these issues.
Problems with WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria’s Endgame
- Scaling for high-level mobs is unpredictable, with some normal enemies being impossible to solo.
- Costs to upgrade endgame items with Bronze are prohibitively high.
- Bronze drop rates are not high enough to both upgrade items and buy cosmetics reliably.
- The upgrades for the Cloak of Infinite Potential in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria are not being sufficiently carried over between characters.
- Certain quests are bugged or missing, making it impossible to access some content and earn achievements.
Previously, the high demand for Bronze in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria led players to farm Gulp Frogs – monsters found on the Timeless Isle whose respawn rate could allow fans to farm upwards of 60,000 Bronze in an hour. Unfortunately, World of Warcraft recently nerfed the efficiency of this farming method, leaving many players upset as they struggle to acquire the Bronze they need to succeed.
World of Warcraft fans are glad to see Blizzard’s quick response to the criticisms of WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. The throwback experience has been popular, with concerns about the endgame being some of the only complaints. WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is still running for three whole months, so hopefully, these upcoming improvements can be the first steps towards perfecting the alternative game mode and setting it up for even more creative iterations on the traditional World of Warcraft formula in the future.
