World of Warcraft has officially revealed the Trading Post catalogue for October, which includes a scarecrow-like transmog ensemble, several spooky weapons and armor, and the Depthstalker mount as a free bonus reward. Players can pick up these World of Warcraft cosmetic items by completing Traveler’s Log tasks and exchanging Trader’s Tender during the month of October.
The Trading Post is an in-game store added early on in Dragonflight that features a rotating selection of cosmetics players can purchase with Trader’s Tender, an in-game currency obtained by completing monthly Traveler’s Log tasks. Right now, the World of Warcraft Trading Post is full of pirate and Brewfest-themed cosmetics until the end of September.
Now, World of Warcraft has revealed the cosmetics that will replace them once October comes around. The catalogue is full of frightful rewards for the Hallow’s End season, including the Hand of Reshkigaal mount, the Ragged Harvest Golem transmog ensemble and matching fist weapon, and black and white parasol toys and gloves for the perfect gothic Victorian look. Outside the Halloween theme, fans can also get the Soot-Stained Shalewing pet, the Swift Zhevra mount, and tons of other weapon and armor transmogs.

Players who fill up the bar on their Traveler’s Logs in October will earn the Depthstalker mount as the free reward for the month. This hauntingly high-tech jellyfish mount looks similar to the Protoform mounts from Shadowlands Patch 9.2, and appears to be usable in any terrain, be it underwater or while Skyriding. Considering many of this year’s Trading Post bonus rewards in World of Warcraft have been underwhelming, the fact Blizzard has given out mounts back-to-back in both September and October is a welcome change.
While it has not yet revealed the Traveler’s Log tasks fans can complete to obtain this reward, there are several events in October that should make it easy to do so. Beyond Timewalking events and the Darkmoon Faire, players will have a few days of Brewfest at the beginning of the month, not to mention Hallow’s End starting on October 18. Between these holidays and World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary event, which is seemingly starting on October 22, fans will have no shortage of ways to finish the Traveler’s Log.
Fans might want to save some of their October Trader’s Tender, however. World of Warcraft announced the class armor and transmog sets from last year are coming back to the Trading Post in November, and that the items will no longer be restricted by class. With these stunning sets now available to anyone who can equip them, players who opted not to buy them previously may want to consider doing so this time.
