World of Warcraft reveals some new bonus rewards for players who pre-purchased the Heroic or Epic Edition of The War Within.
To help players figure out what to do between now and The War Within, World of Warcraft has revealed a helpful guide of important Dragonflight activities they should consider completing over the next month. While most content will still be available, certain achievements, mounts, and other rewards, such as the Voyaging Wilderling and the Reins of Anu’relos, will be impossible or extremely difficult to obtain after the release of World of Warcraft:The War Within. As such, it may be wise for fans to complete these objectives before it is too late.

- Available at level 10 for all players
WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is set to end on August 19, a few days before early access for The War Within begins. The limited-time event provides an avenue to experience the Mists of Pandaria expansion like never before, unlocking tons of mounts, transmogs, and other cosmetics while leveling characters at an extremely fast pace. Once the event ends, Timerunner characters lose their special perks and items, and will be converted into regular World of Warcraft characters for use in The War Within and beyond.
Were these existing Dragonflight activities not exciting enough, the World of Warcraft: The War Within Pre-Patch also adds a new world event. Starting July 30, fans at level 10 and above can participate in the Raidant Echoes event to battle memories of iconic moments and bosses from Azeroth’s history in Dragonblight, Dustwallow Marsh, and the Searing Gorge. Portals in Dalaran allow players to quickly travel to and from the event stages, allowing them to easily collect and spend Residual Memories – the currency for the event – to buy catch-up gear and exclusive cosmetics.
The maintenance period for the World of Warcraft: The War Within Pre-Patch was just extended by a few hours, but fans should be able to start playing World of Warcraft again very soon. That said, players should be aware that logging in the first time will take a little longer this time, as the Warbands conversion process can take 20 minutes or more to complete.
