Alongside his original likeness and two of his previous alter egos, Stardust and Undashing Cody Rhodes, players will be able to take control of Cody Rhodes in a special version of the star, in collaboration with Mattel. Not only will his famously-bruised chest be on full display, but it will be slapped on a full-sized action figure of The American Nightmare. How to Unlock Elite Cody Rhodes in WWE 2K24
The bruised version of Cody Rhodes pays homage to his most famous match at Hell in a Cell in 2022 against fellow popular star Seth Rollins. He sustained the injury during a weight session in the lead-up to the event, whereby he bench-pressed too much weight and tore the muscle. Despite the injury, Rhodes managed to last over 20 minutes in the brutal match, before picking up the victory. The wrestler would be sidelined for several months before returning and winning the 2023 Royal Rumble.
While the Elite Cody Rhodes character is not available on the base roster, he can be added to WWE 2K24 as a downloadable character. This variant of Rhodes isincluded in theNightmare Family Pack, which is included automatically for those who pre-order the Standard Edition of the game, but can be purchased separately for those who don’t.
