Beginning November 30, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will lose access to seven games: Anvil, Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Disc Room, Eastward, and Grid. Four of these titles—the three Battlefield games and Grid—are accessible on EA Play via Xbox Game Pass until this date.

Of course, seven games may be leaving the service, but counting Xbox Game Pass’ November 14 addition of Coral Island, the service has already added eight games total this month. Three more games are set to come to the service later this month, those being Persona 5 Tactica, Dune: Spice Wars, and Rollerdrome. In other words, it’s clear that what comes into Xbox Game Pass outpaces what leaves it.

As always, players can use their Xbox Game Pass membership to purchase these games at a discount and keep them in their library forever. Each of the Battlefield games being removed are classics in the FPS space, so fans who don’t already own them may want to do just that. Meanwhile, Grid is a racing game from industry veteran studio Codemasters, and Anvil is a multiplayer co-op isometric roguelike shooter game. In it, players take on the role of Vault Breakers as they explore galaxies and face alien life forms.

Disc Room is a fun action puzzle game where players must navigate a labyrinth while avoiding cutting blades and discs of all sorts, identifying and navigating their patterns or facing death. And finally, Eastward is an action-adventure RPG where the player character finds hope to live outside and breathe fresh air once more after a dangerous miasma has forced any surviving people underground.

It’s hard to imagine that the year is already wrapping up, and that means Xbox Game Pass’ 2023 selection is winding down. However, if 2023 has proven anything about the service, it’s that it pushes quality and quantity, and that only bodes well for 2024.
