Ubisoft recently released XDefiant, and so far players seem to be enjoying it quite a bit. However, one of the issues players have been facing ever since the release of the game is the absence of the practice zone.

At launch, the Practice Zone was grayed out on the menu screen for many players. However, recently the developers announced that they have added a practice zone in XDefiant, although there is a caveat there as well. Here is how to use the Practice Zone in the game, and why it might not work for some players.

Why XDefiant’s Practice Zone Might Not Work

The answer to this is quite simple, and it’s due to the training mode also being on XDefiant‘s servers. This means that the game will search for servers after you click on Play, and if there is a match you will be able to get it. However, the problem players are facing is that sometimes the Practice Zone doesn’t work at all, which could be due to some external factors such as the lack of XDefiant servers.

The main solution right now seems to be to patiently wait while the game’s servers go back. Players should continue to try to get in and, eventually, it should work. Alternatively, players can also check the online server status to ensure that the issue is not on their end.

The Practice zone can be quite tricky to navigate along the way, but it can be a very crucial one as well from a holistic point of view. They give players a plethora of options, from mastering the various abilities, or simply trying out how the guns work here, helping them not only improve their skill on the battlefield but also getting a better hand of the game’s mechanics.

There are three sections in total that are available: train the weapon, your movement, or simply the abilities. Out of these, the first thing players would notice is that the middle lane is blocked. There are some construction barricades in place there, and this part of the Practice Zone may be available sometime in the future.

As far as training movement goes, that can be done in the Assault Zone. Here players will learn various mechanics like sprinting, crouching, and so on In the firing range. In the firing range, players will be able to use a variety of weapons and switch up their factions to ensure that they are used to all the various guns in the game.
