Palworld is a game with many options when it comes to the player’s base. The base can be customized according to the player’s liking to make the most of the many structures inside.

When it comes to structures in Palworld, the player has many options. However, some structures are definitely necessary to have. Here are some the player should definitely not miss out on.

Why Build Structures in Palworld?

Structures in Palworldwill be essential to customize your base, but also to maximize its productivity. Most structures are unique, and have their own use, whether it’s defending the base, garnering more resources, or something else entirely.

How To Build A Structure In Palworld?

To build a specific structure in Palworld, the player must first unlock it. This can be done by the player reaching the level needed to unlock the structure, then, the player must go to the building option and find a place within their base that is big enough for the structure in question.

Before all that, the player should, of course, make sure they have all the materials listed. Then the player can start the building process of the structure. Either you, or your pals can then proceed to build it, which could take a bit of time depending on how complex the structure is, and how many Pals are helping out.

Best Structures To Add To Your Base

Heater

“Warms the nearby area and protects against the cold.”

At level 17, the player can unlock the heater. Just from its name, it’s obvious what it is for, and that is to provide heating to the player’s base. This will make it easier to walk around the base at night when it’s colder. It also has different uses, such as improving the conditions of the Egg Incubator to shorten the incubation time.

Later on, at level 41, the player will be able to build its better version, the Electric Heater.

Cooler

“Cools the nearby area and protects against the heat.”

At level 18, the player will be able to build the opposite of a heater, the Cooler. If the player builds their base in a hot area, this will be especially useful. It can also be used to improve the conditions to hatch eggs faster.

At level 42, the player can instead build an Electric Cooler, a more effective version of the Cooler.

Hot Spring

“Pals recover SAN while in a Hot Spring”

One of the most useful structures that the player will unlock in Palworld is the Hot Spring. It can greatly help with keeping Pal’s sanity up after long days of work. It is unlocked at level 9, however, there’s a better version the player unlocks at level 31, known as the High Quality Hot Spring. It functions similarly, but is more effective.

Alarm Bell

“Bell that sets the alert status for Pals on base. Change Pal behavior to either attack invading enemies or focus entirely on work whenever you like.”

Unlocked early at level 4, the Alarm Bell can be extremely useful when it comes to defending the base from enemies. Pals might be slow to react on their own when the base is attacked, so by ringing this bell, the player can have them focus on defending it until the threat is gone.

Ranch

“Farm for raising sheep and fowl-like Pals. Assign a Pal with the appropriate Partner skill to a farm to produce items.”

Unlocked at level 5, this structure will need a large space to be built. However, it can be quite useful when the only way to get wool is to hunt sheep like Pals. With this, the player will be able to garner more than enough wool, which will be essential for many items, such as clothes. It can also be used to get other drops, such as eggs, milk, cotton candy, and more.

Statue of Power

“Make offerings to enhance Pals and Players.”

The Statue of Power will be very useful as it allows the player to enhance their characters and their Pals, and it can be unlocked just at level 6.

You can catch Pals more efficiently if upgraded, and as for the Pals, it enhances their stats. The player will, however, need to acquire effigies and souls before being able to make use of it.

Power Generator

“Electric Pals at the base can now store electricity, allowing the use of electric facilities”

Power Generator is an infrastructure that will be incredibly useful to you as it will allow you to use other structures that require electricity to function, such as the Production Assembly Line or the Electric Heater. This structure is unlocked when the player reaches level 26. It will also require you to have deployed the base electric Pals to generate the electricity.

Mounted Crossbow

“Assign Pal with Handiwork suitability and it will protect a base using the crossbow.”

At Level 26, the player will be able to build a Mounted Crossbow. This can then be used by a Pal to defend the base from enemies. Weaker Pals will be able to deal a lot more damage, thanks to this weapon.

At higher levels, the player will be able to unlock better versions of the Mounted Crossbow, notably, the Mounted Machine Gun, available at level 40, and the Mounted Missile Launcher, available at level 50.

Monitoring Stand

“You can command your Pal to work on various things inside a base. Try not to overwork them!”

At level 15, the player can unlock and build the Monitoring Stand. This structure allows the player to better control how their Pals work. The player has three options to pick from here when it comes to how Pals will work – Normal, Hard Working, or Super Hard Working.

Of course, the player should not abuse this as it will exhaust their Pals, but in a pinch, it can be useful for a short duration of time. If a Pal is overworked, they will lose more sanity and get hungry a lot faster.

Breeding Farm

“Assign a male and female Pal to produce eggs. Cake is required for breeding.”

The Breeding Farm is a great structure that will be very fun to use for the player. With this in their base, the player can pick one female and one male Pal and place them in the breeding farm.

With a cake available too, the Pals will give birth to a Pal, which depends on what Pals were placed in the Breeding Farm. The breeding farm can let the player access amazing Pals without having to even capture any.

Egg Incubator

“Used for incubating a Pal Egg. If a Pal Egg is left in it, it will automatically hatch after some time has passed.”

The player will be able to unlock the Egg Incubator structure at level 7, however, it will need ancient technology points and not regular technology points to unlock. The player will be able to hatch the eggs they find while exploring the Palworld world. Different eggs have different hatch times and different Pals inside.

The player can also improve the conditions of the environment to help the egg hatch faster. Overall, this is an essential structure to be able to hatch eggs and the player should definitely use up their ancient technology point for it.
