Her deadly toxin kills many scientists, and she offers ATLAS and P-body (or Blue and Orange) the toughest puzzle for them to navigate in the game. Players will need to focus during this final stage if they hope to shut GLaDOS down once and for all, but doing so is easier said than done.

As the post apocalyptic survival genre continues to enjoy popularity, gamers are finally seeing strong, independent women in leading roles.
Timing is everything for those attempting to conquer the encounter with this operatic boss in Bayonetta 3. The real challenge, however, is trying to spot these little birds before they get too close.

The parasite causes her to live forever, but the catch is she must stay satiated by consuming human blood and flesh. Though she’s already quite powerful in her human form thanks to her razor-sharp claws, Resident Evil Village players will need to be a great deal more cautious when attempting to defeat the monster she eventually transforms into.
4 Sniper Wolf
Cold, Cunning, And Calculating
Metal Gear Solid
- Released
- October 20, 1998
- Developer(s)

A Powerful Shapeshifting Mind-Reader
Final Fantasy 7
- Released

Because Jenova is a parasitic lifeform, there is really no limit to her powers. She can make enemies levitate with her mind, manipulate energy, and most notably, shapeshift into any form. Her boss battles in Final Fantasy 7 are nothing short of epic, with each one being more difficult than the last. Aside from providing players with difficult boss battles, this alien creature is also the primary reason why Sephiroth became the sinister villain fans know him as today.
2 Sigrun
Beware The Deadly Wings
Kratos, the main protagonist in God of War, must kill the other eight Valkyries before facing off against Sigrun. As if the other Valkyries weren’t incredibly tricky to deal with. Sigrun is one of the toughest enemies in the entire franchise.
One must be powerful, tough, and slightly unhinged to be queen of the Valkyries. Sigrun has all those qualities and also has access to deadly wings and the ability to send molten lava pouring down from the sky. This female boss is hard to overpower, so God of War players should prepare for many failed attempts if they plan to take her down.
1 Medusa
A Dangerous Foe Who Can Turn Players Into Stone
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Released
- October 15, 2018
According to Greek mythology, Medusa has snakes as hair and is so grotesque that anyone who sees her immediately turns to stone. In Assassin’s Creed, she’s a long-range attacker who leads a team of lethal warriors.
Players can face off against Medusa in Odyssey, but only those who are close to Level 50 will stand a chance when trying to beat her. With her forcefield and her ability to manipulate snakes, striking her from up close is impossible. To defeat this powerful villain, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey players must be strategic with their armor and weaponry. Even then, taking Medusa down is no easy feat.
