MultiVersus: The Rise of Jason Event Guide

MultiVersus is a live-service video game, so there’s no surprise that Season 1 of this multi-fandom brawler already has seen several events come and pass. These events offer players an opportunity to earn several different rewards, from Battlepass XP to in-game currencies, or cosmetics.

For this reason, players are often eager to participate in each event as it is worked into the game. One of the many events to arrive during Season 1 is The Rise of Jason, an event featured around Halloween slasher icon, Jason Voorhees, who is also a playable character in the game under the Tank role. All The Rise of Jason Event Missions, Progressions & Rewards in MultiVersus

In MultiVersus, The Rise of Jason event began on June 18, 2024, and will run until June 26, 2024. During this time, players will be able to work through a series of milestones and earn rewards by completing missions. As the event progresses, additional missions will be revealed for players to complete, enabling them to make steady progressions and claim valuable goods, including a summer-themed cosmetic for the iconic Mage fighter duo, Tom & Jerry.

Some users have been experiencing a bug where they won’t receive rewards or milestone progression from completed The Rise of Jason missions. This will likely resolve soon, and players should be able to receive all met rewards by the end of the event with no further issues.

While The Rise of Jason event concludes on June 26, 2024, it is likely there may be a brief extended period to claim prizes, as seen in the past with
the Team Batman v. Team The Joker event
. Players can expect to be able to claim prizes earned during the dates of the event up until June 27, 2024, but, they will not be able to continue to progress through any further missions or milestones.
