A new leak from Fortnite reveals a set of scrapped crossover content originally planned to be added to the battle royale as part of the Family Guy crossover. Throughout the life of the massively popular battle royale from Epic Games, crossovers and collaborations have become a staple of the game’s new content cycle. Fortnite has featured crossovers with everything from movies and media franchises like Marvel and DC to anime series like Dragon Ball Z and Jujutsu Kaisen. Now, new leaks have revealed cut content from one of the game’s most popular crossovers.
Fortnite made waves at the end of 2023 when Epic Games debuted the game’s long-rumored crossover with FOX’s Family Guy. The crossover saw multiple skins added to the game based on the beloved sitcom, with both protagonist Peter Griffin and Peter’s recurring arch-nemesis in the Giant Chicken. The Family Guy collaboration also added several cosmetics referencing different gags from the show, including a pinata version of Brian and the “Petercopter.” However, a new leak is showing even more content that was cut from the final version.

Fortnite Leak Shows Scrapped Family Guy Content
A recent leak shared by prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX is showing off multiple pieces of scrapped content from the Family Guy crossover. The leak shows off different outfits for both Peter and the Giant Chicken, with “guerilla warfare”-inspired outfits for the characters. The images also showcase multiple different pickaxes that were originally planned for the crossover, including a crocodile and a cello used in different fights between Peter and the Giant Chicken. The leaked concept art was credited to another leaker within the Fortnite community, known as iFireMonkey.
The scrapped content from Fortnite‘s Family Guy crossover comes as the highly-anticipated collaboration already featured a different version of the franchise’s main character. Peter’s appearance in Fortnite is shown as being particularly different from his normal version, referred to as “buff Peter” for his visible muscles. Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane said in an interview that the different appearance was due to Epic Games “lacking the budget” to bring Peter’s normally overweight stature into the game accurately.
Fortnite‘s Family Guy crossover serves as just one in a rich history of crossovers for the Epic Games battle royale. The most recent competitive season for the game saw the addition of an iconic Marvel villain, with X-Men‘s Magneto introduced to Fortnite alongside new gameplay mechanics. Fortnite has also recently introduced crossovers with the Fallout game franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and metal band Metallica among others. While Family Guy‘s time in the spotight may have seen some content scrapped, the crossover will go down as one of Fortnite‘s most memorable.
