12 Popcorn Machine

Never Go Hungry Again

Popcorn Machine in Fallout 76

  • Raider Reputation Required: Cooperative
  • Plan Cost: 1250 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Mortimer, Crater Core

The popcorn machine is a good thing to have at every player’s CAMP. As the name would suggest, it produces popcorn. All the player needs to do is hook it up to a generator, and it will start collecting popcorn. The maximum it can collect is 12, so players should take the machine’s contents every time they pass so it doesn’t hit the limit.

While eating isn’t as important as it used to be in Fallout 76, being well-fed does provide players with a boost to strength, HP, and disease resistance. Finding food can be tedious, especially for lower-level players. So, having a way to passively generate food is a big win.

11 Farmable Dirt Tiles

Great For Keen Farmers

Farmable Dirt Tiles in Fallout 76

  • Settler Reputation Required: Friendly
  • Plan Cost: 500 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Samuel, Foundation

While it doesn’t seem like much at first glance, being able to craft Farmable Dirt Tiles can be incredibly useful. There are lots of players who use the Herbivore mutation in order to get increased benefits from eating fruits and vegetables. Those players tend to have a small farming area at their base to help with their food needs.

The Farmable Dirt Tiles can be incorporated into a build above the ground. Normally, to plant a crop, the player will need to be on the ground as they can only place crops in dirt. But, if the player is using Farmable Dirt Tiles, then they can build a farm on any floor or their C.A.M.P. This can help to stop enemies destroying crops during random attacks.

10 Beehive

Generate Honey At Home

Beehive in Fallout 76

  • Settler Reputation Required: Cautious

  • Location: Samuel, Foundation

The beehive plan doesn’t look like it would be that useful at first glance, but it is definitely worth getting. It generates honey passively at the player’s CAMP. The beehive can hold a maximum of 4 honey, so it’s important to collect it regularly.

Fallout 76: Best Daily Quests To Complete

Players can hop on Fallout 76 daily to grind out a few quests for rewards. Here are the best activities to complete every day.

The reason why this is a must-have plan is because of the daily quest: Strange Brew. For this quest, players need to bring 10 honey to Sweetwater over at The Giant Teapot. This gives players some XP and a few random items. It also gives players a small chance to get the Forest Camo Jumpsuit. This is one of the rarest apparel items in all of Fallout 76.

9 Gauss Shotgun

A Shotgunner’s Dream

Gauss Shotgun in Fallout 76

  • Settler Reputation Required: Ally
  • Plan Cost: 500 Gold Bullion (Mods Vary)
  • Location: Samuel, Foundation

There are lots of shotguns in Fallout 76. However, most of them aren’t particularly good. There are two types of shotgun that are excellent for tearing enemies to shreds; The Cold Shoulder and the Gauss Shotgun.

The Gauss Shotgun takes a while to unlock as the player needs to be allied with the Settlers. But once it has been unlocked, with the right perks and legendary effects, this weapon is almost unstoppable. For players who enjoy using shotguns, the Gauss Shotgun is a must-have weapon.

8 Turbo-Fert Fertilizer

Harvest More Crops

Turbo Fert-Fertilizer in Fallout 76

  • Settler Reputation Required: Ally
  • Plan Cost: 750 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Samuel, Foundation

To unlock the ability to purchase this plan, the player needs to be allied with the settlers. This takes quite a long time to achieve. But once it’s reached, this is one of the first plans the player should invest in. Players can earn some settler reputation by completing daily quests and events for settlers.

The Turbo-Fert Fertilizer can be placed at a player’s CAMP, and it will passively produce Turbo-Fert Fertilizer. This can be used to instantly regrow crops after they have been harvested. This is ideal for herbivores who rely on certain crops for in-game buffs.

  • Nuka-Cola can be sold to vendors for Caps
  • Some types of Nuka-Cola Can Be Used To Craft Powerful Grenades
  • Makes Completing Nuka-cola-based Daily And Weekly Challenges Easy

Being able to generate bottles of Nuka-Cola at one’s CAMP is beneficial. Just be sure to lock the machine, so other players don’t take the contents.

Reduce The Weight Of Food And Drink

Backpack Mods in Fallout 76

  • Settler Reputation Required: Friendly
  • Plan Cost: 350 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Samuel, Foundation

The Grocer’s Backpack Mod is an incredibly powerful mod that players can add to their backpacks. It reduces the weight of all food and drink items by a whopping 90%.

This mod makes managing carry weight much easier. Food and drink weigh quite a lot in Fallout 76. So, being able to reduce the weight of all food and drink by 90% will make an enormous difference to a player’s carrying capacity. This is a must-have plan, especially for those players who like to carry plenty of supplies with them.

5 Leo Petrov

A Lite CAMP Ally

Leo Camp Ally in Fallout 76

  • Plan Cost: 4000 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Samuel, Foundation

Leo Petrov is one of the many lite allies that players can have stationed at their C.A.M.P. Just like all Gold Bullion allies, Leo Petrov costs a whopping 4000 Golf Bullion. Unlike many of the other lite allies, Leo offers the player some interesting benefits.

Once per day, the player can give him a bottle of Nuka-Cola. The player will receive a temporary buff. The buff will depend on what Nuka-Cola they give him, and it lasts for 60 minutes. The full list can be seen below:

  • Nuka-Cola Cranberry: +5% XP
  • Nuka-Cola: +2 Charisma
  • Nuka-Cherry: +2 Endurance
  • Nuka-Cola Twist: +2 Luck
  • Nuka-Cola Wild: +2 Perception
  • Nuka-Grape: Increased AP
  • Nuka-Cola Dark: Better Stealth
  • Nuka-Cola Orange: Radiation Ressistance
  • Nuka-Cola Vaccinated: Disease Resistance
  • Nuka-Cola Quantum: Increased HP

Out of the effects listed above, most players opt for the XP increase. This boost stacks with other XP enhancing perks and buffs, making it perfect for leveling up a little bit faster.

4 Plasma Caster

A Great Heavy Weapon

Plasma Caster

  • Plan Cost: 750 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Regs, Vault 79

The Plasma Caster is a very powerful weapon. It has a high damage output, low recoil, and great range. With the right legendary effects, the Plasma Caster has the potential to become one of the best weapons in Fallout 76.

While the Plasma Caster is a fantastic weapon, it does have two downsides. First is that it’s untradable, meaning that the player can’t buy a good Plasma Caster from someone else. Second, all the mods for this weapon need to be purchased separately for Gold Bullion. Putting the negatives aside, this really is a great weapon and is worth the Gold Bullion investment.

3 ArmCo Ammunition Construction Appliance

Passively Produces Ammo

ArmCo Ammo Machine in Fallout 76

  • Raider Reputation Required: Ally
  • Plan Cost: 750 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Mortimer, Crater Core

No matter what type of weapon the player uses, the ArmCo Ammunition Construction Appliance is definitely worth having. Even if the player uses melee weapons, this machine will passively produce ammo that can be either used or sold to other players for Caps.

The machine can be programmed to craft most types of basic ammo, and it doesn’t require any help from the player. Simply set it up and watch it generate ammo. While it doesn’t produce thousands of bullets, some free ammo is better than no free ammo. Just be sure to lock the machine to prevent other players from taking its contents.

2 T-65 Power Armor

Arguably The Best Power Armor In The Game

Power Armor in Fallout 76

  • Plan Cost: 1000-1650 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Regs, Vault 79

The T-65 Power Armor set is one of the best Power Armor sets in the game. It boasts the highest radiation, electrical, and damage resistance of all the Power Armor sets in the game. It is a very expensive set to unlock. Just to purchase all the armor pieces will cost 6900 Gold Bullion.

Should the player want to purchase any additional mods, then they will cost more Gold Bullion. While it is a very expensive set to own, it is worth it due to the sheer quality of the Power Armor.

1 Secret Service Armor

One Of The Best Armor Sets In The Game

image showing the secret service armor in fallout 76.

  • Plan Cost: 750-1250 Gold Bullion
  • Location: Regs, Vault 79

Secret Service Armor offers the highest damage resistance than any other non-Power Armor set in the game. It is sturdy, durable, and just an all-around great set. It’s worth noting that players can purchase the Secret Service Helmet for 1650 Gold Bullion, but it’s worth it because the helmet doesn’t offer any damage resistance.

Similar to the previous entry, this set is untradable, and its mods need to be purchased using Gold Bullion. But, it is a worthwhile investment as it is one of the best armor sets in all of Fallout 76.
