Every mission in Crime Scene Cleaner is filled with secrets for you to discover and collectibles to pick up. While in some games, collectibles offer no real thing apart from a bit more information about the world, in this game, you’ll get more experience points for uncovering them.

This gives you a bit more incentive to put in the time and effort to pick them all up. Bad Call is the first mission in Crime Scene Cleaner, and we’ve compiled the location of the secrets and Cassette Tapes in the mission right here to help you find them all.

All Secrets & Cassette Tapes in Crime Scene Cleaner Bad Call

In Bad Call, you can discover a total of three secrets and three cassette tapes. Here’s how you can get each of them:

Secret #1

To get to the first secret in Crime Scene Cleaner, head into the apartment and go up the first flight of stairs. Now, instead of going left and up another set of stairs, you want to go forward to where all the broken closets are. On your left, you’ll see a half-boarded-up door that you can crouch under.

You’ll now arrive at a new location called Hidden Apartment. Go to the bathroom at the end of the apartment and look for the Hidden Key #1 that’s sitting on top of a crate. Pick it up.

Now, walk out the bathroom door and approach the window to your front. Out on the scaffolding, go up the stairs and interact with the escape ladder. Use it to go down. Look to your left to find Hidden Key #2 and pick it up.

Walk forward towards the small nursery, and you’ll find a locked gate on your right. Since you’ve picked up the Hidden Keys already, you’ll be able to unlock it. Go through the garden, and at the end, you’ll find another door you can unlock with the Hidden Key. Walk through the door, and you’ll get credited for finding the secret.

Cassette Tape #1

The Cassette Tape #1 will also be located in the same area. You’ll find it above the jukebox. Interact with it and press E to collect.

Secret #2

To get to the second secret in Crime Scene Cleaner, walk out of the garden and climb up the escape ladder to the top. You’ll see a yellow window cleaner lift behind you. You can get to it by hugging the exterior ledge of the building. Don’t worry; the game has no fall damage, so you won’t get hurt even if you slip.

Once you get to the lift, click on the green button, and it’ll take you down a level. You’ll see a boarded-up window. Hold the right mouse button to punch and break the boards and go through the now-open window. You’ll arrive at the second secret location on this mission.

Cassette Tape #2

The second Cassette Tape for this level will be in the second secret room on the rack to the right of the paintings. Press the E button to collect it.

Secret #3

For the third secret, you’ll need to go up the stairs of the main building. Right before you get to the Dealer’s Apartment, you’ll see an open window on your right. You’ll need to climb up the window. Outside the window, you’ll see a narrow ledge that you can use to get to another roof. Walk across to discover the third and final secret for the Bad Call mission in Crime Scene Cleaner.

Cassette Tape #3

For the final Cassette Tape, you need to do a bit more work. Play through the mission as usual, and at one point, you’ll discover a new location called The Attic. Climb up the stairs inside the apartment to the Attic, and the Cassette Tape #3 will be sitting on your left right next to the radio.

Now that you’ve uncovered all the secrets and collected all the Cassette Tapes, you’re free to play your way through to the end of the mission. Make sure you get every spot and loot all the money littered all over the place to get 100% completion for Bad Call in Crime Scene Cleaner.
