Mutators play a big part in the buildcrafting aspect of Remnant 2. These are basically attachments that give weapons specific bonuses, allowing them to synergize more with Archetype skills and accessories. Bulletweaver is one such Mutator, and it’s an excellent pick for rapid-fire builds that also focus on Mod Generation.

Like all things interesting in this game, Bulletweaver is hidden inside one of the multiple worlds in Remnant 2. Getting this item can be a little frustrating due to how dungeons and even specific rooms of dungeons are randomly spawned, however. Here’s a quick guide showing you what you should look out for if you want to get the Bulletweaver Mutator.

Where To Get The Bulletweaver Mutator In Remnant 2

To get the Bulletweaver, players will need to roll a Yaesha world that has a dungeon with the Hidden Library secret passage. Base game owners have a chance to find this passage in Remnant 2’s Endaira’s End dungeon. If you’re playing the Forgotten Kingdom DLC, then you may also find the Hidden Library in the Earthen Coliseum or Proving Grounds dungeons.

When you’re exploring any of these dungeons, keep an eye out for the statue in the image above. Break the pots on the right to reveal a hole that leads to the hidden library. Go up the stairs, then keep moving forward to the corner of the hall. You’ll end up activating a pressure plate on the floor, which will open secret door leading to the Atrophy and Rot Stalker Aberrant fight.

Defeat these minibosses, and you’ll get the Bulletweaver Mutator along with Corrupted Lumenite Crystals. Don’t forget to search the rest of the Hidden Library to get the Burden of the Follower ring.

What Does Bulletweaver Do?

The Bulletweaver Mutator increases the rate of fire of the weapon it’s attached to. Like all Mutators, it can be upgraded by speaking to Dwell, the Pan merchant across the firing range in Ward 13. Every upgrade level increases Bulletweaver’s fire rate bonus, and once it reaches level 10, it will also increase your weapon’s Mod Generation by 15%.

This is one of the best Mutators to use for the Nightfall rifle in Remnant 2. This weapon comes with a built-in Mod called Dreadwalker, which gives Nightfall infinite ammo, 25% fire rate, and 10% lifesteal when activated. Bulletweaver synergizes perfectly with this, as not only do the fire rate bonuses stack, but the faster Mod Generation means players get to use Dreadwalker more frequently.
